    Dishwasher Repair

    Returned home from a holiday to find the dishwasher wasn't working - was not running and was leaking. Called Modern Appliance and Peter got back to me the same day, tried to assist with a self diagnosis (which I wasn't able to do) and then ordered the part based on my details of the issues/model etc. When the part came in and he was over to service - he was punctual, friendly, thorough and detailed. He explained what was wrong, fixed another problem he came across (not too costly) and tested it extensively. Thank you Peter & Modern Appliance.

    Washing Machine Repair

    We had an issue with our laundry service unit (stacked washer and dryer). The washing machine did not drain the water in the tub. After I called numerous repair companies, Peter was the first to respond with a diagnosis of the issue, a quote and plan of action. Most repair companies refuse to give quotes answering questions with "it depends". Peter was the exception. Before he came to repair the appliance he instructed us with a few steps on how to fix the issue on our own which we did successfully. We are thankful that he was honest and helpful. Moving forward, if we have any repair issues, we will call Modern Appliance repair.

    washing machine repair

    I called Modern Appliance late last week about getting my washing machine repaired. I was already three calls into the process of trying to find someone to do the job when Peter called me back. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and pre-ordered the part. He said he would arrive Monday before noon and he did. He told me it would probably cost about $300 to repair and it cost $305. And he gave me some sound advice on how to extend the life of the machine. Awesome, punctual, efficient and friendly service. I highly recommend this company. A shining example of entrepreneurial Canadians!

    Refrigerator Repair

    Contacted a few people through the Homestars website. Peter was very quick to reply and was available the same day. He made an accurate diagnosis and cost estimation based on the description of the problem I sent over email. Peter is very friendly and was honest with his suggestions, giving us some options. He did not make us spend any more than what was necessary. The repair was quick and he had the replacement part on hand. Peter also offered us suggestions of how to perform some simple fridge maintenance and passed on some tips to hopefully avoid the problem from happening again. I would definitely recommend him and will contact him in the future if we need any repairs in the future. Thank you Peter!

    Refridgerator Worth Fixing

    Excellent and fast diagnosis; the part took time to get, but that isn't Modern Appliance's doing, just their challenge. Excellent customer service, considerate, fast and time efficient - I would go to them first again for other issues.

    Dishwasher And Refridgerator Repair

    Peter was recommended to me a few years ago. I have called on his services since this time and have not been disappointed. He is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. To top it all off, his pricing is competitive.

    dishwasher repair

    had a dishwasher that wouldnt drain over xmas- pump working, lines clear, in my mind, no real source for the problem. Knowing I had no idea they could have charged more and claimed damage that wasnt there- instead, I got a quickly fixed and low cost repair of the highest quality...great work and thanks for your integrity!

    Refrigerator not cooling

    Peter came to fix the fridge, diagnosing it immediately and fixing it within a half hour. I told him that my oven was misbehaving too, and he immediately diagnosed and repaired that too! He is very knowledgeable and professional, and I would definitely use his services again!

    Refrigerator repair

    Called Pete before, as I was very pleased with his work and professionalism. My refrigerator wasn't cooling and Pete was able to get here promptly, diagnose, and fix the problem. He also found a water leak, which he fixed without charge. HIGHLY recommended.

    Amanna refrigerator repair

    We've used Peter from Modern appliance a few times and were completely satisfied with the service. Peter came out on a short notice and repaired my refrigerator , he is very knowledgeable , and gets the job done! Highly recommend Thanks Peter for the great work!
