Heritage Tree Care was amazing - they responded to my call right away (on a Saturday morning) and sent an arborist over about an hour later. Even in the rain and with a very angry cat on his hands, John did an incredible job and got him down super quickly. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with cat and/or tree needs!

August 25, 2017. Heritage Tree Care crew of 6 were at our High Park home to trim off dead branches from a very tall (250+ year old) oak tree. The were very professional and well organized. Worked in unison as a team, like a well rehearsed orchestra. Very good communication and teamwork skills to ensure safety first. They were very careful not to damage plants under the tree and I was amazed how afficiently they worked in a yard with only gardens and nothing was damaged. When done, the clean-up left the yard cleaner than before. They would be the only crew I would use for any future tree cutting, trimming, etc. services. Also, their cost is very reasonable.

Heritage Tree Care provided excellent service. Joe provided a same day quote and removal. His pricing was highly competitive, he provided more work for a better price, than his competitor. His team was efficient and professional. He provided good advice and was friendly and a pleasure to work with. We have used a couple of other companies in the past, Heritage stands out as it is a small business and they clearly care about customer service and take pride in their work. We highly recommend them.

I recently (July 2017) had Joe and his crew at Heritage Tree Care remove a very large black oak tree (13 feet in diameter, 150 feet high) from the ravine in my backyard. The work had to be completely manual as there is no access to the ravine. Joe's quote was by far the best I received (out of four), his crew was professional and worked unbelievably hard. The cleanup was excellent and included completely replacing a neighbour's rotten fence that was only slightly damaged by a falling branch. Without a doubt, I can recommend Joe and Heritage Tree Care, and I personally will have them back for any further work I require.

Joe and his team (I can't remember all of their names but Jacob and Alex were amongst them), were amazing. I have been avoiding dealing with this very large tree that had completely taken over my backyard. A friend of mine recently used them, and I am very grateful for the recommendation. Joe and team are highly professional, polite, down to earth and simply said, just nice people to work with. Not only did they do a great job with the tree, they spent time cleaning up, leaving my deck, lawn and driveway spotless. They also took the time to explain to me about my tree and the challenges I may have with successfully growing grass with that tree. Thank you Heritage Tree Care for providing exceptional service!

I got a number of quotes for my job. It was taking down to ground level a 70 ft ash - 4ft diameter trunk ash tree which had succumbed 90% to the Ash boring beetle. Also trimming of deadwood in my two large oak trees. Joe was responsive and helpful in the quoting process. His quote was competitive ( we got several), he arranged a convenient time to do the work and his crew was extremely courteous, professional, efficient and cleaned up very thoroughly. With the weather, the job stretched out over two days with a large crew occasionally working simultaneously on different trees at the same time. His people are amazing. My wife and I and our kids, and at times, the neighbours and other tradespeople working in the neighbourhood would all at times just watch with amazement as his crew maneuvered around high in the canopy. Also they are clearly very safety conscious. The crew communicates in constant check ins to ensure the safe movement in the tree, passing of equipment and lowering of cut branches. All the debris was removed and they were very meticulous in the clean up and respect for our property. On top of it all, speaking with his crew members they love trees and are knowledgeable in the proper care, feeding and soil conditions. I would highly recommend Joe and his team again in a heartbeat. It was a pleasure dealing with Joe and his crew.

Hired Heritage Tree Care to trim down overgrown trees in my backyard in late summer 2016. They were extremely knowledgeable regarding the trees and the work that needed to be done. They did not focus on just what i thought needed to be done but rather looked at all the trees and outlined items that should be addressed. their pricing is middle of the road however the services and the quality of work are anything but! work was done to the highest standard and the staff were very friendly/polite. Despite the huge amount of branches that were cut, the trees kept their natural beauty and were not butchered. After all the work was completed, the whole backyard and front of house was cleaned up so well that it was hard to tell that they had been over. A previous company left tree branches and debris for over a month and left the front yard lawn in disrepair. Would highly recommend this company.

Joseph Gillingham and his crew of several showed up in late summer as planned to primarily service our old oak tree in the back yard on Durie Street in Toronto. The crew were very well equipped and organized. They got to work quickly and diligently and did a thoroughly fantastic job of pruning our tree. We had also requested a deep root fertilization treatment which was done for both the oak in the back yard and the magnolia in the front yard. A little extra magnolia tree trimming was provided. Overall I am extremely satisfied with Joseph and his team, and I highly recommend them.

Joseph and his crew took down my tree of heaven last week. It was in an awkward place and very big. They did a fantastic job! They also trimmed other trees in the back and front yard. They left me with a beautiful tidy back and front yard. I would definitely use them again.

I had a large, old apple tree that needed pruning. and two trees removed. Joseph and his crew did a good job, came quickly, and were very reasonable in cost. I have every plan to use them again.
