    roof/deck renovation

    We are very dissatisfied and unhappy with the work done by Professional Roofers. We use the roof as our deck. The way your work was done means that we have to sit now on our deck full of puddles. Your salesman Alfredo showed us pictures of a perfectly flat and smooth roof finished with Spray Polyurethane Foam and assured us that this is the best for our needs. The roof was finished on 29th November at 7:00PM and it was too dark to see how smooth it was. Next day was raining and I found out that there are two large puddles, about 2 feet in diameter, and many small ones. I sent a photo of one of puddles to Alfredo. He told me over the phone that water standing on the deck “is normal”. I sent a photo to your Quality Control person, Fernando Galeano. He sent me a message: “I was on your roof and I couldn’t see any problem with it” Yet, I don’t consider it normal and consider it problematic that our deck is full of puddles after rain. Not only are they getting full of dust and look dirty, but in summer will provide a perfect place for mosquitos, a situation that may endanger our health. I hope that there is some liquid Polyurethane that you may fill the puddles so the rain water can flow down the slope, and that you will rectify the situation when the weather permits. The present state of the finished deck we find unacceptable, particularly at the price of over nine thousand dollars.

However, in this case, as explained to you by Alfredo and Fernando many times since the beginning, and at the end, a little bit of pooling is normal on a flat roof, especially if it is raining. This is also mentioned on the contract. We can assure you that the SPF installation was done correctly. Alfredo and Fernando have been with the company for many years and are fully experienced with all roofing solutions. We want you to imagine water on a table – that water will eventually evaporate and the same concept goes for a flat roof. If the structure is not flat to begin with, the solution applied on top will be the same. This is a result of a design error from the original builder as they did not include a pitch during the building process. The previous roof had a gravel solution which hid the pooling, but now because the SPF is a smooth surface, this design flaw is more visible.     Roof

    Professional Roofers showed up a bit before the scheduled time, with 4 workers. They were very professional, let us know exactly what they were doing, especially if it was something that was not expected. They actually showed me where the problems were before correcting them. The job they did was excellent. One of the things I was most impressed with was the clean up job they did when the project was finished. We were extremely pleased with the completed roof.

    Roof

    The guys did a great job. Very satisfied with the work, roof looks terrific. Also a really good cleanup done.

    Roof

    I can’t really say the whole experience gave me the ‘WOW’ factor, from the look of the finished shingles to the clean-up method etc. I was shocked when I went across the street to look at the finished roof to see Edges of Shingles looking crinkled, was told they will eventually settle...we shall see. No one explained that this was expected nor did I find this information when I did my research that this so called ‘Architectural Shingles do this’ The Clean-up...well with the blower they sent all debris onto grass and onto road instead of collecting it in one pile and picking it up. Someone is still supposed to come and apply additional caulking in one area.

    New Roof and removal of 2 layers of old roof

    Great sales presentation by Fernando, with the roofers doing exactly what we were told that they were going to do. The roofers were friendly and polite. They did fine work and cleaned up the job site well. Fernando followed up with us and answered all our questions. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Professional Roofers. It is wonderful to see a company taking pride in their work. Nice job guys.

    Replaced Flat Roof on Garage

    The workers arrived on the date and time agreed to and worked into the evening to finish the job.

    Re-roofing house

    The process was transparent and open from beginning to end. They gave a full explanation of what they would provide. The crew was very efficient, clean and cooperative. Great workers and friendly.

    Roofing

    Professional Roofers 0% down payment indicated to me they had a commercial account with the supplier of the materials, telling me they were a well-established company. The man who did the appraisal for my roof gave me clear options and addressed the questions I had concerning the weather conditions in my area. Although there was no pressure to commit on the spot, I did arrange with him to get the work done. The work was done on the date arranged and more quickly than I expected. It was completed in about 5 and a half hours; much faster than my neighbours whose roofs took a full day using other roofers. I had already seen the work of Professional Roofers when they did my neighbour's roof and noticed it was better quality than some other roofers being used in the neighbourhood. The warranty on labour and materials gives peace of mind.

    Install New Roof

    The roof was done quickly and professionally and the staff were friendly and easy to deal with. No complaints.
