While I am pleased with both jobs that were preformed on my home, I am less than pleased by the the clean (shingle debris) and disregard of committing damages to other parts of my home.
With regards t the shingling of my home, I am completely satisfied, with their installation. The clean up after the job was finished, was less than satisfactory. Multiple nails were found through out the lawn and on my driveway, even though the crew swept the yard and adjacent areas with a magnetic grabber. In addition, even though the side yard was cover with tarps, to make clean up easier, this area is thoroughly covered with shingle granules! The first time I have my shingles replaced, the job was done with such perfection that, it was impossible to tell that the shingles had been replaced, without looking at the roof. In fact my neighbor had to tell me that the shingles had been replaced, as I was not at home during their installation. This would not be the case had I been out of the house during installation of the new shingles on May 10th/2019.
With regards to the installation of the eaves, I will mention two cases of carelessness during this installation, on May 13th/2019.
1. During the removal of the eaves on the back of the house, the spikes in the eaves were allowed to fall onto the glass roof panels of our solarium. The cost to replace one pane is $2,000.00.
2. No care was taken to prevent scratching or marring of the eaves on the solarium. Even though their crews ladder was not placed on the solarium eaves, insufficient care was take to prevent the ladder scratching the eaves as the workers climbed up and do the ladder. I had t bring this to their attention as well as to provide bumpers to stop further damage.
In all, somewhat less professionalism was demonstrated with the work crews, compared to the sales representative we negotiated the jobs to be done, with.
