Compassion and Expert Service Combined...
July 2016 (the HEAT wave): my central A/C died. The replacement part was ordered, but 2 + weeks away. During the same period, I was providing palliative homecare for my daughter. Even the best of days were challenging. Nimo, the service manager, bore the brunt of my frustration with my desperate call to see when part might arrive - it was delayed - I broke down. The heat had completely eliminated my usual resilience. To provide temporary cooling for one room, Nimo did an extraordinary thing - he drove from his home (over an hour), on a Friday evening, and installed a personal window unit to allow at least one room in the house to be comfortable. A true act of compassion and kindness. Word got out at AtlasCare as to what our family was going through - and everyone we dealt with was kind and efficient. Thank you Nimo, and all the others who offered us support during a challenging time. My words cannot truly relay the effect this had on my heart.
