    Duct cleaning

The Technician Anthony was extremely polite and friendly. The service was thoroughly done and well explained beforehand. I was also shown before and after photos of what the ducts looked like. I was very impressed and would highly recommend them!

    Great service!

Second time using this company this year after two separate renovations. Alex and Garrett did our most recent duct cleaning. They were clean, quick, polite and informative. I would definitely use this company again. The only reason I didn't give a ten out of ten was because the company expects you to cover any parking tickets obtained by their truck while they are there which I'm not sure how I feel about that. Other than that - great!

Furnace, Humidifier and Thermostat Installation + Duct Cleaning

We moved into a new house just recently and I figured that since the furnace was around 9 years old that it would be wise to have someone come in for a tune-up. I chose AtlasCare because they were recommended by someone on a forum. I had to call them twice before I could book an appointment because I was told someone would call me to arrange a visit but no one called, so I had to follow up. However they were all very polite and helpful on the phone. Dag came on time for the tune-up and was very helpful. He listened and responded to the concerns that I had (low humidity), explained how things worked and showed me things he noticed in the furnace room. We couldn't however proceed with the tune-up because he round a leak in my secondary heat exchanger and had to red tag my furnace. He explained to me that my options were either replacing the heat exchanger or to get a new furnace and that someone could come the same day to give me a consultation on a new furnace. Since our furnace did look pretty rusty and was old we decided to go for a new furnace. Dave came right at the scheduled time and helped us through the process of choosing a new furnace. They only gave us 2 options from one brand (York), 2-stage or modulating. He did mention that they carried other brands but those weren't listed during the pricing (we didn't ask either). We were lucky enough to be able to have the new furnace installed the next day. The installation was quick, from 8:30am to 1:30pm. They made sure to line the floor and left minimal mess given the amount of work done. Although they didn't really try to walk me through what they were doing and did so when I asked. I would give a 7/10 for the installation. 9/10 for the furnace and humidifier (unless it breaks down.. upon which I will adjust the score), and a 5/10 for the thermostat. We purchased an Ecobee3 from AtlasCare for its smart features, however the installation that was done did not live up to AtlasCare's reputation. My lilbee (secondary seonsor) was placed upside down, and my two-stage furnace was configured as a 1-stage furnace, also my humidifier was not connected. Given the fact that we were charged a $150 installation fee (what we paid above retail) for the Ecobee3, I expected a more complete installation. I did reach out to Dave regarding my concerns, and although his initial response was that my requests could not be done, upon my insisting and explaining that it is stated in the installation guide that it can be done, he did ask the office to look into the problem. Soon after I received a phone call from the technical department saying they looked into my request and may be able to have it configured properly with a third party component. They put in an order for it and will schedule a visit for installation once it arrives. I will provide an update regarding the Ecobee3 once they come back to fix it. I am very appreciative of their customer service as everything went smoothly with the furnace and humidifier. All the individuals that I have spoken with are very helpful. There was a little hiccup with the thermostat installation which could have been done better, but I am glad they took my request seriously and have taken a look into the issue instead of trying to brush off the issue. Update (29/02/2016): They came and got my Ecobee3 hooked up for both stages on my furnace and also managed to connect the humidifier to the Ecobee3! They accomplished all this even though I only had 4 wires running up to the thermostat. I am very impressed by their customer service and their willingness to research and look in to the matter in order to provide their customers with more options. Thank you AtlasCare!

    FURNACE WARRANTY WORK

I purchased my Trane furnace from AtlasCare 6 years ago and have been under a service contract with them since that time. I also purchased the 10 year extended warranty and was told that in order for that to be in effect I had to also purchase a service contract. Although that didn't make sense to me, I took them at their word. Recently the furnace stopped working so I called AtlasCare. They came out and diagnosed the problem ... a failed circuit board. The diagnosis was at no charge because I had a service contract. The parts would be at no charge because Trane would cover that, but I would be responsible for the labour. The labour charge for 1/2 hour to install the new board was $306.00 + tax. I called Trane to check into the extended warranty and contrary to what I had been told I did not have to purchase a service contract for the warranty to be in effect. I also learned that under the warranty both parts and labour were fully covered by Trane. Fortunately I had paid for the charges by cheque and was able to stop payment. I feel that by telling me I had to purchase a service contract (been playing for that for the last 6 years) and that I was responsible for the labour on the repair, that it demonstrates a complete lack of integrity and honesty.

    service

I would give AtlasCare a 10,I called them on a Tuesday morning. I thought we needed our Ducts cleaned. There was a burnt smell coming from the heat registers. They told me it could be some thing else. So they set a service tech, turned out that the furnace motor was burnt out. They let me know the part was under warrenty, It was repaired the next day. I also decided to go ahead and have the Ducts clean anyway. The guys from AtlasCare did a great job. Explained everything very well and Professionally too!

    HVAC Installation

Our York furnace came with our home when we moved in over 22 years. We had several problems with our York furnace after New Year’s. We called AtlasCare for both problems. The first issue turned out to be a burned out igniter. Not more than 10 days later, we heard a grinding noise off and on Saturday night and we woke up on the next morning to a furnace making noises but no heat. We called AtlasCare emergency service and another excellent technician (Aaron) came over on the same day and diagnosed the problem to be the furnace air blower. He recommended that we look at a new furnace and gave a rough idea of replacement cost of furnace air blower and new furnace units. He waived the diagnosis fee since another technician was over on the first issue. We met with Ron Robinson, sales representative, later the same day and he explained our different options. Ron filed the paperwork the same day to make sure that we get emergency installation the next day since it was a no heat emergency. His follow-up helped and they came over in the morning and installed a new York furnace and air conditioning unit by mid-afternoon. It was on one of the coldest days of the winter. The installation team (Gary, Lindsay and Tedros) were professional and courteous. They gave us the red carpet treatment. They explained what was done and we are happy with the service.
