    New York AirConditioner

    I contacted Atlas Care to install an Air Conditioner Unit at my residence. Mr. Jeff was the person who supervised all the services carried out at my place. They gave me a good deal which included: 1. York Air Conditioner 13 Seer 2. 1 Year Satisfaction Guarantee on the Unit 3. 10 Year Parts & Labor 4. 2 Years Advantage Plan on my Furnace & AirConditioner Everything went smooth on the installation & I want to give credit where it's due. The people carrying out all the Installations were really professional at what they do. The 1st problem came after 2 days when the A/C didn't even cool the house. The Technician came in and found out that they forgot to adjust the fan speed on the Air Handler. During this time I noticed that the final agreement didn't even mention the 2 Year Advantage Protection Plan anywhere, however it was on the Quotation. I called Jeff, he picked up and said he will look into it and contact me first thing in the morning. I never got a call again. Now comes the big part (2nd Problem). The A/C started making these sparks, I called AtlasCare and they told me to turn it off on a really hot day of July. The next day the technician shows up and he finds out that the chipboard (or chipset) has gone bad and they will order a new one. I told them that I was on the Advantage Plan and I am at least covered for 700 bucks to whatever the cost is. This is where it got really messy. AtlasCare told me that I was never on the plan and it's a mistake on my part. I have to pay for the part on full or they cancel the order. I demanded to talk to somebody senior. He told me that we dont give protection plans on anything not purchased from us. I was really angry the way I was treated. I called Jeff and he assured me that I was on the plan and he will solve the problem. 3 days later, AtlasCare told me that the part has come in and the technician will come in the following day. I was kept in dark all this time whether I still got my protection plan or not, as Jeff didn't call me back. The good news was that I was on the protection plan and they did deduct 700$ out on the part, the bad news was that they said it's only for 1 year. I have called Jeff 3 times since then and asked him to please look into this matter and send me a copy of the agreement. I never got the call back. No follow-up on the old customer calls. Let's get some new people in. I still don't what happened of my request. I did get a call 3 days ago for the tune up as winter is coming up. All I would say is always make sure you read the whole agreement and merely not depend on words. I would still recommend AtlasCare but I am giving it a rating of 6 because of the problems I had to see.

    Residential Boiler and water heater replacement

    Rudy and his team from AtlasCare were nothing short of exceptional. Rudy did a comprehensive assessment of our entire home, our systems and our needs and gave me a well thought out quote that went above and beyond the other two companies quoting on the job. As we had no heat, Rudy scheduled a team of 4 senior installers to come in a matter of days to do the job. What I thought would take 2 or 3 days to install was done in one marathon day! The install team were prompt, professional and really enjoyed their work and each other. The system was up and running by 6PM. It was a great experience all around.

    duct cleaning

    Dave and Ardi were very client focused. They were very friendly, efficient and thorough. Our ducts were spotless after the cleaning and they even put a deodorizer through the system at no cost and gave us a discount on the cleaning service. Would definitely use their service again!

    furnace tuneup

    Our furnace tune up was done thoroughly and neatly. Kyle was fine with me asking a lot of questions as he worked. He explained what he was doing and obviously took pride in his work. He mentioned other services that AtlasCare provides ( like duct cleaning) and spoke highly of his employer. Also I was called ahead of time by a pleasant sounding woman with an English accent because the technician was going to be late . I appreciate the excellent customer care that I received and will recommend this company to family and friends.

    replaced our boiler

    I called AtlasCare to inspect our old boiler. They concurred with several other companies that it was corroded and leaky with regards to carbon monoxide. Needless to say I decided to replace it. AtlasCare gave a very detailed estimate and my husband and I felt it was competitive. After considering other Heating Services, we decided to commit to AtlasCare. The installers were extremely efficient, timely, helpful and courteous. The replacement took almost an entire day but they were so professional that I was able to carry on with my own routine(had a friend for lunch!) during the whole procedure of replacement, without any disruptions. At the end of the day, the new boiler actually looked great - if that is possible! The furnace room was tidy, the boiler and various tubes, pipes and wiring was all neatly in place and the heat went on without a hitch. I would not hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend their services. To top it off they offered me a very reasonable payment plan which made a rather expensive procedure, painless! Thank you AtlasCare!

    Duct Cleaning

    Technicians arrived on time, considerate, Courteous, efficient and very professional, even down to here little booties over the shoes - Inspected equipment after duct cleaning completed for any issues, non found - highly recomended

    Furnace Inspection and replacement

    A routine inspection of the furnace in our new home by Luke of AtlasCare revealed a CO leak resulting in our furnace being "red tagged" and the gas to the furnace being turned off. Luke attempted to obtain replacement parts for the heat exchanger which was cracked but none were available. It was the thursday before Thanksgiving weekend when my 94 year old mother-in-law would be visiting and the forecast was for cool weather. Luke contacted Gus Karathanasis of AtlasCare who visited us that evening, evaluated our needs and recommended a new furnace and arranged for its installation the next day, Friday. Gus was most helpful. On Friday Mike and Eric arrived in the morning with the new high efficient furnace worked out the installation and completed it by mid afternoon. The problem was identified and remedied within 24 hours and we had heat for the weekend. We were thoroughly impressed with the professional and helpful service provided by AtlasCare and recommend AtlasCare without reservation.

    Fall Tune-up

    For the past fifteen years Atlas Air has been doing a fantastic job of caring for my furnace and air conditioner. The technicians are always helpful and efficient and take a personal interest in the homeownwer. A few years ago Jeff remedied a mouse problem when he discovered and sealed a mouse entrance to our house. Then again this September, Nimo responded to a new concern about mice by searching the perimeters of the house and giving his advice on how to outsmart the little invaders. Thanks, guys.....there's no more sign of mice!!

    Furnace seasonal service

    Service was great as usual (client for years). Eric was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to do a good job and to offer some advice for improvements. Perfect.
