    Roof top HVAC unit.

Nimo and Brad were on time, courteous and found the problem and fixed it. Actual visit cost was less than another company's quote, majority of cost came from new equipment.

    air conditioning on the fritz

Last night was hot. Our air conditioner decided it was the perfect night to stop working! I called Atlas care and the after-hours serviceman (Nimo) spent a good amount of time with me trying to diagnose the problem. In the end, a service call was needed. he came in from Dundas Ontario, on time, with a smile on his face, and a plan of action! He had us up and running in no time, with a full explanation of the problem, how to avoid it in future, what to look for, and all of that...with MANNERS and completely charming approach to the whole thing. Finally...someone who knows what they're doing, and happy to be doing it! I run my own business, also a service business, and know how difficult it is to find dedicated employees like Nimo. I was expecting the worst...but I got the the best! 10 out of 10...and no...I'm not related to Nimo or anyone at Atlas Care. Just think a job well done , should be recognized. Sincerely, jody Colero

    Air conditioner repair

Gus at at AtlasCare was extremely helpful in resolving a problem that had arisen through a complete mixup at the company. My fan motor was not working on the air-conditioning unit and Atlas sent out someone the next day. The mechanic, Ray, advised me that the condenser motor in fact was not working, it was an old unit and he could not read the serial number on the air-conditioning unit so he felt he should take out the condenser motor to read the part number, although he could read the model number. He asked if I would like to take out the motor and have him take it back to the shop to see if they can get the proper parts. I confirm that he should do so. That was on Tuesday. By Friday, I had not heard from anyone at Atlas and I called service. They advised that they were still looking for the part and would make it a priority. I then called on the following Monday was told that they needed to pull the motor out of the unit so they could see the part number. I reminded them that I asked their mechanic, Ray, to do exactly that and we are now a week later. Finally, by the afternoon, Gus had called me and had figured out that Ray actually had the part in hand. The action also had the model number and could have ordered apart from the model number as well. Unfortunately, the part was no longer manufactured when they did get the part from Goodmans, but through some ingenious efforts, Gus was able to have the motor replaced by a rebuilt motor, and made some adjustments so that it could be reattached to the condenser fan. The unit was reinstalled and the air-conditioning unit was operational. Thanks to Gus's extra efforts. He is to be commended. Unfortunately, Ray did not tell me at the time he inspected the unit that the coolant was at a borderline level, which means that it probably would not cool to the fullest extent even if the fan was operational. I have now discovered that the coolant is low and needs to be replaced or new unit purchase. If I had known this information, I may have made the decision not to repair the fan motor in the first place. It would have been nice to have this information up front in the full report from Ray. But my commendations to Ray for his efforts to solve a very unfortunate situation. I cannot say the same for the mechanic who totally forgot to bring in this part until I badgered the company three times.

Yearly Tune Up of Air Conditioner

Nimo and Brad arrived on time (a little early) to give my air conditioner a tune-up. They were thorough, polite and efficient in doing their work. They kept me informed of what they had done inside the house and also what was done on the outside part of the unit. I had a very positive experience in dealing with these two technicians and would definitely recommend them to friends. They are good representatives of AtlasCare.
