AtlasCare designed a heating system for our home which we gutted to the studs in 2012. Upon their recommendation we installed an in-floor radiant heat system and Spacepak AC. During our first winter in our newly renovated home we realized that our master bedroom floor was not heating at all...the system simply doesn't;t work in a large area of the home. Puzzled by why the system was failing in this area, AtlasCare recommended an additional $5,000+ spend/solution as a workaround. Whats more, they wanted us to pay $750/year for an ongoing service contract in order "to keep our warranty (on our brand new heating.cooling system) valid". Still trying to resolve the issue of the heat not working in a large area of the home, we asked AtlasCare for the drawings which would show where the in-floor pipes were laid. After 2 years of persistent follow-up, they eventually produced the wrong drawings, that were not at all reflective of the final installation. Just last week we had them back to install a new thermostat -replacing the one they installed in 2012. We specifically requested a technician who was familiar with the system in our home. Instead we were sent someone unfamiliar with our system, and as a result we were charged for 3 hours of labour, for what should have taken less than an hour. We see AtlasCare trucks all over the neighbourhood, and the company was recommended to us by a friend. We thought we had hired a company who would deliver premium work and customer service. Instead we have an expensive system that doesn't;t work property, and have received substandard customer service, and the issue has not been remedied. We have been quite dissatisfied with Atlas Care's service and accountability, and cannot recommend them.
