I found that many of them are middlemen, small companies that are either overworked or not qualified to do the job properly. Along with the quality and guarantee of the product is only as good as the support provided and if the company stays in business.

We have had problems in the past with warranty issues from fly by night companies, however, Clera windows are covered by an incredible warranty, and they were very transparent in explaining this to me.
It helps when the product is provided by a direct manufacturer rather than a middleman.
This may sound like a sales pitch, but I am giving this feedback because I have had significant issues with other companies in the past. It is comforting to know that the product is reliable, the cost is reasonable, and the workmanship done is A1. Knowing that, its great to have someone available who takes pride in their company and the product provided. I can also trust Clera, their companies installers, and the service they provide.
Because of the quality and service, I personally had all my windows replaced in my home and I am very satisfied with the improvement of comfort and cost savings experienced, having my windows installed before last winter.
