    Third year with Clera!

    This is our third year ordering windows and doors through Clera, and we have been very happy with the experience. We purchased an older home that has needed significant renovation, and have kept going back to Clera and Eugene for their excellent service. Eugene has always been very quick to get back to us, and while Clera is not the cheapest company, they provide solid value in their product and customer service. I would definitely recommend them.

    Window installation

    We had all the main level and 2nd floor Windows replaced in our house. The salesman (Andre) was very knowledgeable about the products and choices and thorough in explaining the advantages and différences between window styles. The installer was very Professional and conscientious...it was very apparent that he takes pride in his work and cares about Customer satisfaction. As he explained....he likes to do a good job and do it the right way the first time. All the work areas were cleaned perfectly afterwards. We look forward to enjoying our new Windows for years to come and definitely will recommend CLERA to our friends and family!

    all windows and front door with storm door

    Wow! I am so excited that I finally have my new windows and front door. They really enhance the beauty of my home. I'm looking forward to saving some energy dollars this winter. Gerald, the sales rep, and Laverne the installer were very helpful. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately. One screen arrived with a wee run in it. They returned it and installed a perfect one right away. I had four estimates and chose Clera. It was not the cheapest, but I had a referral from a very happy customer. Everything he said about the company and the installer was true. I see other Clera signs on front lawns and assume they are also happy clients.

    Replacement of All Windows and Doors

    Our experience with Clera was one of the best we've ever had. Dennis, the sales rep, came by and went into great detail about the different types of windows they provide and their benefits and price points. The then gave us suggestions of which windows would enhance our house as well as fit into our budget. It was a no pressure sale, he did not call us back - we called him. The crew that came to install were amazing! Ranjan, Raj and Vicky were friendly, respectful and were very experienced. There were problems.. my heart sank when the first window went in and it was not what I had ordered. They guys assured me that the problem would be fixed and sure enough, new windows were here and reinstalled in a matter of days. They finished the job on time and everything looks amazing! We couldn't be happier with the the doors and windows and our transactions with Clera.

    Defective product, defective service

    New Review: Our windows arrived late and were installed August 17 and 18, 2017, taking an additional day over what we were told. During installation a stake which holds a garden light (part of a set) was misplaced by the installers, and the windows were left in a messy condition with glue on the glass that we were required to clean. Also, a screen for one of the windows was missing. Clera arranged to deliver and install the screen later that month and asked that someone be home for the afternoon (I forget the date) but nobody showed, and we received no phone call explaining the missed appointment. We contacted Clera and the screen was delivered (left outside) the next day. We were also told the screen was ripped and had needed a repair, the resulting repair was a loose screen (not taut like the others). Late October we noticed our kitchen window seal between the glazing had separated, and what appeared to be moisture had entered between the glass panes (see attached photos); it took 3 attempts (705-739-8199) to make contact with Clera (Barrie) on October 30th. Clera asked us to send them an email with a photo (also sent October 30, 3017), and we were told by Diane (or Joanne?) that we would receive a call the next day (November 1, 2017). We received no reply, and on November 3, 2017 I contacted Clera who told us that the window was in fact defective and that a new one had been ordered; as of December 15, 2017 we have yet to receive our replacement. November 8, 2017 we were cleaning our windows, and noticed a similar defect in several of our bedroom, living room, and dining room windows and I contacted Clera and spoke with Diane (November 9, 2017), who asked us to send more pictures. I asked Diane to send someone out, rather than send several photos over several emails, as sending files that large often fails. Diane agreed that sending someone was more appropriate, and we were told they would contact their service rep and be back in contact with us the following Monday (November 13, 2017). We had heard nothing, and so November 23, 2017 I called Clera to find out what was happening, and I believe I left a message, I then called back November 24, 2017 and was told again someone would be in contact and sent out. Having heard nothing, and fed up, I contacted Clera Head Office Customer Service department (1-844-738-3936) and left a message on their answering machine - as of December 15, 2017 they have never returned my call. December 6, 2017, still no word and so I called (Barrie) again and spoke with 'Matt' (Mack?) and he said that it was unacceptable to have waited this long and that he would contact his guy immediately. Shortly after Matt had called me back to say 'Chris' could come out that Friday, however we were at work during the time, and Matt said he would have Chris phone us to arrange a date and time that worked. This was the last communication with Clera. We have decided that enough is enough and have extended our complaint to the BBB December 14, 2017. Throughout the process, this company has provided deplorable customer service, I cannot say I have experienced such bad service in my 40+ years of life. Also, as a final note, we had to chip the ice off the INSIDE of our bedroom window this morning (Dec 14, 2017), and we run an HRV in our home. Dec 17, 2017 - Finally received a call (message) from Clera, while at work. At this point we are waiting to hear back from the BBB, then we'll return the phone call.

    Basement windows and door glass replacement

    After experiencing poor results from a previous window company, we chose Clera to replace our basement windows and a door glass insert, and are very pleased. The process was easy and effortless, with excellent communication and follow through. The windows and glass insert are exactly what we requested, look great and work properly with proper installation. A small issue with a wall 'scuff' and one window screen were promptly addressed and corrected, and we could tell the installer and salesman were both very conscientious about our satisfaction with their products and service. Thanks to Omar and Alex. We wish we had found Clera sooner, and would use them again without hesitation.

    Window replacement from straight to Bay Window

    After reviewing and meeting with four window replacement companies, we chose Clera Windows & Doors to replace our large 'straight' living room window with a Bay Window. Denis, the Clera Sales person was personable and straight talking, his installer Ranjan and his team were proficient, addressed our questions and did an excellent installation. We could not be more pleased with our new window and have received many compliments on the new look, also the price was very competitive. We would not hesitate to recommend Clera Windows and their trained staff. Thanks Denis, Ranjan and crew.

    Doors & Windows

    Two summers ago we had Clera install 2 doors, 2 screen doors and some windows. We had to bug for the installers to come back 2 extra times to fix the doors. The one screen door was ordered to open the wrong way, and it took a whole year to get a new door that opened the correct way! We noticed that the front screen wasn't taut and would blow in, and I mentioned this to the installers. They said it was just loose and needed adjusted each time it happens. Now the screen is getting caught and rips. The front screen door lock does not hold either. We really wanted it to lock as we have concrete steps below it, and small children. This screen door was very expensive, and we expected much better service and quality for the price that we paid.

    Good quality doors and good service

    The 2 outside doors were installed in my house (single and double doors). The job was done on time and doors were good quality. I had some problems with the double door and it took a while for the service guy to fix it. Finally everything was done properly and I'm satisfied with their work. I would recommend this company.
