    Window replacements

    May 2017 - Terrible customer service. We have an issue with weird/inconsistent gaps around the the window sashes that were installed Jan. 2016. I contacted the original installer. He said he'd send a guy out in a week or so. June 22/17 - Never heard back. So contacted Hernando from main office customer service. I sent him an email with pics of my issues on. I called around July 1 and left him a voice mail wondering if he had seen my email..No response. July 12/17 - I have not heard back from them. I have again left a voice message. July 13/17 - Head office (Hernando, said he was on vacation) has taken the initiative to look into our issues. Since yesterday, we have received a call from one of their installers and have set a date for them to come in an inspect our issues. I will keep you informed . July 14/17 -Head office sent a guy in to look at my window issues. He agreed with me. The windows should be replaced. The windows are 70/30 sashes. They are too heavy for their lift assist device. Why didn't the salesman know that?? Anyway, the very same day, our original salesman and local guy (Todd) contacts us. This is the same guy we bought the windows form and contacted originally and he never got back to us. Now he says we have to fix this problem and now we have to probably go with 50/50 windows. Which means that our view will now be obstructed. So, we still have to get back to them on which direction we want to go. We decided to go with the 50/50 So, since getting head office involved, we are getting some good customer service. Oh, also, this website has really got them paying attention so keep up the feedback. Sept. 6 - We called Todd to see when things were going to be changed. He said he would call back. He never did. Sept 28th- Called Todd again to see whats happening.He seemed confused and needed my wife to refresh his memory. We are not confident that Todd actually ordered the new windows. Oct 2/17 - Fed up with waiting for Todd to get back to us, we again called Hernando. He said would contact Todd. Hernando called back and said the windows were ordered, he could not tell us when the order was placed. (nervous again) Oct. 4/17 - Now we have been very patient with these guys and we are getting frustrated. This is why I have again given them a 0 rating. We deserve better service than this Nov. 1/17 Called our local rep, TODD. No answer and no call back. Wondering if he has closed up and moved on????? Nov 2/17 Called TODD again today as we got no response yesterday He called back and said our new windows will be delivered to him on Nov.13.

    Delayed Service

    We chose Clera for our replacement windows and doors because of their high rating on Homestars. From our experience, we do not know how his high rating is justified. We ordered the windows in June of last year. When we had received no call for installing them by September, we called back. We were told that they would be installed in October. When they eventually arrived, there were "Rush" signs on all of the windows. This was consistent with the actual order for the windows not having been placed with the original order. Yet there was no apology for the delay. In April, the heads of two screws which held down the track for the sliding screen on the patio door came off. I E-mailed Clera and they promised to fix the problem. It is now July and after many promised dates between Clera and the installation contractor, the problem still has not been fixed. Whilst customers make their contract with Clera, they in turn sub contract to installers and there appears to be no management oversight to check that the installers are doing their job correctly. Subsequent to the problem with the screen track, the drive mechanism on one of the casement windows came loose. We have been waiting for this to be fixed also. I advise anyone to be extremely cautious about placing a contract with this company. Probe deeply and do not just base your decision on internet reports. Eventually our problems came to the attention of the VP. He called us to apologize for the lack of service and he arranged for one of their more experienced technicians to fix our problems. I am pleased to say that Omar arrived on time on the agreed date and he sorted out both problems in under an hour.

    Quick, reliable and excellent product!

    We had all of the windows on the second story of our home replaced as well as our basement windows. The installers were courteous, professional and quick! They did a wonderful job and we love our new windows!

    Replaced 2 Very Old Bedroom Windows.

    I'm located in Amherstburg. A couple months ago I notice a Clera Windows and Doors flyer in the mailbox. I looked it over and decided I liked the promotion they had on and gave them a call. A couple days later Gary Gainham the salesperson shows up, takes a few measurements and sits down to disgusts type of window that would be best. He even had a few samples to show how well there are manufactured. Once I decide the type of window, it was as easy as 1,2,3. Windows where installed with professionalism, everything was cleaned up, neat. Very happy with everything. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you.

    Windows and Doors

    I was finally able to realize my dream of owning my own home. It was a bit of a fixer upper. The picture window and lower level windows were wood frames and cracked and missing parts. After a few years I decided the windows HAD to be replaced. Not something I could do myself so I started getting quotes. The long and short story is that I went with Clera Windows, Doors & Siding, owner Todd Huson. His salesperson was on time, very knowledgeable, and, believe it or not, had actual samples of different windows I could chose from in regards to the crank open, slide up and down, etc. Didn't have to try to envision it from a small pic in a catalog. I liked them so well that I spent a little extra getting more window for me so instead of going with a flat picture window, I opted for a bay window. The great thing about that is that Mr. Huson's installer, Vlad, really built it into my house - it wasn't prefab. It was built to the size of my window area. Now my two little white Bischon's have a place to sit and enjoy the view. I liked this company so much that about 2 years later I had them install a new front door. It's gorgeous. Same great service once again. I was able to pick the door, the kind of window glass I wanted. The most expensive investment I have made in my lifetime is my home and I intend to maintain it. I won't bother with anyone else when I need more maintenance for windows or doors. I highly recommend Todd Huson and Clera Windows, Doors and siding.

    Doors

    Ken Chaston ,the rep for this area was very helpful in suggesting the doors we would be most satisfied with. The installation was done by two young men who were obviously skilled in the process. Very happy with the final result.

    Job well done!

    After receiving quotes from several different companies for replacing 5 windows in my home I decided on Clera. The quote was not the lowest nor the highest but I was impressed by the professinalism of salesman Ron and his assurance that the windows would be installed 6-8 weeks from purchase. Diego the installer came to measure the windows the following day and weeks later he and a coworker did a great job of the installation. It was a neat, clean job and I am very happy with my new windows. I would recommend this company and use them again myself.

    Window Renovation

    We just had our windows replaced by Clera and I must say, from start to finished they have made this renovation project such a positive experience. From the Sales Representative, to the installers everyone has been a pleasure to deal with and we could not be more confident in our choice. The end results are beyond our expectations and we will use them again in the future for any windows and doors projects and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality windows and doors.

    Replacing windows and doors in home.

    With coupon in mail for 25%off, decided in Feb this year to replace windows and patio door. General manager came out and measured the existing ones and gave us our quote. We signed up that day, and windows were to be installed April 18. Crew came and while unloadin, said windows did not fit, and took them back to dealer. A remeasure date April 21st by same Gen. Mgr. proved some windows were not going to fit and some windows were not frosted as requested. G.M said reorder would be put in. No word from anyone till May 12th, request to remeasure. Waited,but no one came. May 15th, another request to remeasure, no one came. May 16th, called office again to get answers, secretary said had asked G.M.to call several times, but that appt. was booked for June 5 and 6. Turns out it was only for 5 out of 9 products to ensure I did not cancel the whole contract for misrepresentation. It is now June 27, and we still have not got the windows we were promised back in April. Would I recommend this company....what do you think?

    Windows

    We really enjoyed getting our new windows from Clera. Les was very friendly and easy going and was a pleasure talking to. We were very impressed to know their product is built in house and specifically for our house dimensions. The installation went on time and with no problems. I'm very satisfied with our new windows and would recommend them instantly for our next project.
