Front Door
Clera has just contacted me and is working on a solution to my concern. I will update with results as they occur. I returned to Clera after having a previous good experience, this time not so much. First my order was placed with an installation expected the end of December or early Jan, after constant follow up it was May. The order was for 2 doors one a brown custom coloured front door and it arrived with a white plastic sweep on the bottom of the door. Around the door was thick caulk in places over 3/4 inch wide. This made the installation look cheap and nasty. I contacted my sales person who said it would be fixed, a custom coloured sweep and they would replace the caulk with the the same coloured trim. I followed up multiple times to no avail. Frustrated I called customer service and left a message, later that day I had a call from the sales man who said it would be done before the end of the week. I then received a call saying they were at the house doing the work. As this is a rental I was not able to get there to supervise the work as I had requested both in email and on the phone. You can see the result, yes they added the trim and then covered it over with more thick layers of caulk. The trim is only visible in very small patches. I cannot understand why a thinner bead of caulk could not have been used. Believing the work would be completed satisfactorily I had asked the sales person to quote on another door and window. Weeks have passed and he has yet to get back to me.

Window Instllation
Hello! I had my back windows installed last Friday by Ramesh and Crank. Who were very respectful, timely and professional. Our windows look great! Thank you to the Clera Window team!

Clera Windows
Problems with installation and with the actual windows. Water leaked due to no caulking at installation. Fixed now after 1.3 years. Told seal failure on three windows yet no phone call to confirm from company. Severe condensation for 2 winters on these windows, probably from seal failure. Tried to brush off seal failure for 1.3 years after many complaints. Finally, confirmed by an installer who was in to fix the caulking issue. Screens are a pain in the but. Trim was not correct and was $100 check never made it to me that was promised re this issue. Disappointed is an understatement. I will put a stop payment on my payments if I don't hear back from the company by Friday. I really hope we don't have to live through another winter with the seal failure issue as I don't feel like running fans on this window again for the third winter in a row.

Dear Shelly Hall, we understand your frustration and our management has tried to contact you for last couple of days. You had issues with condensation and that is why our management team visited you in January to look at the problem. We agreed that installer has to go back and look at the insulation and check the caulking when the weather is better. We sent an installer from head office last month specially to look at your issues and he reported some seal failures which are ready now. We will be shipping them to your local branch and they will schedule a service call with you. We have never tried to neglect any customer and sometimes there is delay due to weather or personal reasons. Please contact our head office to provide the details about the $100.00 issue which you did not mention when the management team visited you in January but we can assure you that we will look after your concerns.Thanks - Clera Admin

Replacement Windows
Repeat customer. Clera Windows, specifically Mr. Chris Larock and his team of installers from the Hamilton area, first replaced 2 windows in my kitchen. This time there were 8 replacement windows; main level, upstairs and basement. Windows were all installed beautifully, the old windows were removed and cleaned up 100%, and there was minimal disruption during the install. The installer noticed there was slight damage in one of the screens for a new window and in less than 24 hours he had come and gone with the brand new and fully functional screen. 20 out of 10. Give Chris Larock a call if you want a great product at a fair price.

Window Replacement
When it came time to replace all our windows,.Frank from Clera presented all options in various price ranges to suit our budget. His professionalism and expertise made it easy for us to pick the right windows for each of the rooms. Clera's team of installers were not only professional but fast. They had all our windows and patio door put in within a day. The quality of the windows and patio door is of very high quality. We have gotten multiple complements from friends/family and neighbours. Window Installation
I live in an older home (circa 1940's) in the East end of Hamilton. I knew I needed to replace the windows that I'm pretty sure were original to the house, but I had not acted on it. I arrived home one day to find a Clera Windows flyer in my mailbox. I had never heard of them, but the offer was very good so I called and spoke to Chris Larock, the franchise owner for the Hamilton/Niagara Region. He was very friendly and not at all pushy in his sales pitch when he came and looked at the project. He quoted me a very good price for 5 large window inserts. I had intended to get more than 1 quote, but when I talked to a few friends and family about the quote, they assured me it was a very good price, so I went ahead without getting any other quotes. On install day Richard arrived alone, and I was a little concerned. I wondered how he would handle the job alone on a very hot and humid day. In less than 5 hours, all 5 windows were installed, all the debris and mess was cleaned and he was on his way. I was impressed with Clera from start to finish and would recommend them to anyone looking to install windows in an older home where retrofit/inserts are the way to go!

Window Replacement
Upon doing home renovations we discovered our old windows were leaking and they had to be replaced. Clera windows came out the same day and we ordered our windows. They made our job a priority and installed our new windows earlier than expected. We can't thank the Clera windows staff enough.

Windows
We called Clera windows and doors because we were new to the area and their homestars reviews for Burlington were excellent. We shopped around with other companies but felt most comfortable with John Gainham from Clera. John and his crew managed our project and did a great job. They met our required timeline and provided great product and a professional installation. We will recommend John and his team anytime.

Window and Side door replacement
Both my husband and I are very pleased with both the product and the level of service we received from Clera Windows. The Salesperson, Chris LaRock, was very knowledgeable and helped steer us on the right track in terms of what we needed and what we didn't! The two installers were very professional and made every effort to keep the necessary mess contained. They worked very hard to ensure that the end result looked as beautiful as we had hoped it would. Chris was wonderful in helping to sort out a delay in installation which was no one's fault....the storm door took a little longer in production than originally anticipated. However the end result was well worth the extended wait and We couldn't be more pleased with our new kitchen and bedroom windows as well as side doors! We will gladly recommend this company to all of our friends and family!

Window and Door Installation
Tired of the drafts coming into the house and having to yank on our back door to exit the house, we called John Gainham at Clera. John came to the house, talked to us about what we wanted, discussed options and made appropriate recommendations and then gave us a very fair quote. We waited for the windows to be made and then, as promised, installation day came. Richard Warren headed up our crew. First thing done was the laying of tarps to protect our floors, then the guys went to work. We had room width windows installed in the kitchen, a bay window done in the living room and large windows installed in the dining and family rooms. Throughout the installation the crew respected our home and not only did a first rate job of installation, but left no mess behind. They even left my garage cleaner than when they arrived. Our windows look great, I have a beautiful rear door that gives us easy access to our backyard and we are thrilled with our completed project. Both John and Richard ensured we knew all of the features in the windows (including easy cleaning access) and promised to return immediately if any problems cropped up. Given the first rate way we were treated, I believe them! I would happily recommend this company (especially John and Richard) to our friends and family!
