Great clean up, slow to get started but once they got going I was very happy with the workmanship. I would recommend them to others as the look was great, updated the house and will be great for re-sale value. Looking forward to having them do my back windows next, once these are paid for!!

FM Windows had been recommended to me by a business acquaintance who was really pleased with the work he had done by this company. I called FM for a quote. The manager who came to my home really knew his stuff, put me at ease and was not at all high-pressure, and the price was very competitive, so I felt very comfortable in signing a contract. The windows were ready and installed within the time frame the manager had promised. The installers were highly professional and friendly, and I have nothing but good things to say about my whole experience in dealing with this company.

From the first meeting I was very impressed with the level of knowledge and expertise the salesperson had. The installers were excellent and very efficient at their job, follow up was done after to installation to make sure I was pleased with the job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone without hesitation

We were charmed by the artistic salesman and reasonable pricing. Unfortunately, the salesman happened to be a very unorganized and hard to reach person as we could learn it about him later on. Massages left in his personal voice mail could be returned only after a call to the main office. The delivery was delayed by almost 4 months. Windows installation was lousy: not plumb, yellow foam sprayed on the black roof shingles and the outside brick walls, drywall ripped around the windows – the room walls had to be repaired and repainted on our own expense. The FM Industries installers used MDF to frame the windows, not wood. We received much unexpected reaction from the main office when complained about the deficiencies. The person who seemed to be the owner of the company demanded a full payment immediately and threatened to pull out the workers if we do not comply. At that moment the front door was removed and the replacement one had yet to be installed. When we refused to pay in full until everything is completed according to our contract the installers just walked away and we were left to deal with the front door installation ourselves. Fortunately, it was early afternoon and we managed to hire a contractor to finish the job the same day. A week later we negotiated a price reduction with the tough owner, which yet with the added costs for room renovation and the front door installation resulted in $600 more than we originally signed off to spend on the windows and front door replacement. Last week I called the FM Windows to order replacement weather stripping. It deteriorated rather quickly within a 4 months period. I had to talk to the owner once again and had to listen to a very abrasive lecture on how big a full I am expecting that the company will honor their lifetime warranty after the contract was short paid. The gentleman hung up on me without giving a chance to reason. We have read and also heard several times from the salesman that the company has been in business in Canada for 30 years. Somehow it does not feel as Canadian business at all except for the first encounter with the salesman.

We were very pleased with the quality and the installation of our windows and doors. The installer answered any questions we had and the job was finished on time and the clean up was immaculate. We would highly recommend FM Industries.

I wanted to take a moment to express how pleased I am with F.M. Industries after the recent installation of an entry door system, a patio door and bedroom windows at my home in Mississauga. My experience was positive from start to finish - from the salesman who gave us some great options through to the installer who was very professional and took pride in his work. I would recommend F.M. to anyone that is thinking of replacing windows or doors in their home. My home looks great and I know I will be enjoying my investment for years to come.

FM Windows & Doors did two jobs in two years for us and they did an amazing job. The sales person met our needs from the first meeting and followed up on the installation day. The designed windows for us to make our home look different from the outside. Quality and prioe was #1. They followed up with us on the first call for an adjustment. Windows and installation were top notch. Sales person was knowledgeble, punctual and very thorough. Had many quotes and the pricing was very competitive for the quality I windows I received. I have als referred this company to my neighbour as well as my boyfriend. They both, after doing their necessary homework chose this company as well. I will be referring them to anyone else who is looking for quality windows and doors

The doors themselves I am happy with and the installation was fast and painless. Some of the service calls took longer then I'd like but overall, a good experience. My house has much greater curb appeal and seems warmer in the winter. Sam the installer was great and made sure everything was done to my specs before calling it a day.

With regard to their customer service, THERE IS NONE. Saleman couldn't get here fast enough to get a contract signed but to get anyone out to fix a problem that has been ongoing for 7 weeks now...well all it is is promises and those promises don't come when they return calls because they don't. We would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, not even enemies. If anyone out there knows who to contact please advise as when I call they won't give me any information.
