    Great job and very professional service

    Really liked dealing with this company. They solved my issue and did a professional installation. The salesman was very professional and did an awesome job in keeping me informed and his opinions really helped us in making the right choices for our home. It looks great. Totally made our home stand out!

    Excellent Communication and Overall Experience

    I was looking to replace the windows and patio door at my cottage at Sherkston Shores. Not being from the area, I was asking around and multiple people told me that Clera Windows and Doors were hands down the best. I called on a Friday afternoon and received a return call on Saturday morning. By Sunday afternoon, someone was at my place taking measurements and provided me a quote on the spot. I was so impressed with their professionalism that I gave them the nod on the spot. The windows and doors were delivered on time and as promised. They completed the installation while I was back home and the professionalism of the installers was first rate. They called everyday before they entered the cottage even though they I had given them the code. They called at the end of each work day telling me they were completed working some days into the dark. When I arrived the next weekend after the installation was complete, I was blown away. The place was cleaner than how I left it before the installation. I forgot to remove all 18 window coverings before I left. Not only did they remove them for the removal and install of the new windows, they put them all back up. The place looks great now and we've received so many compliments on the new windows. If you are looking for quality products and professional service than you have come to the right place. You are in good hands.

    Terrible communication and no customer service and still no date

    We could have went with other window companies that had given us quotes, but we went with Clera and completely regret it so far. Chris was the Sales Rep or Regional Manager for Clera, who we signed up with to do windows for most of our home. Chris told us the windows would take 6-8 weeks to be made, and 2 weeks to get the installation date. We paid the deposit on July 19th 2022. It is now Nov 6th 2022 and we still do NOT have an installation date. We are going on 16 WEEKS NOW!!!!! So much for 6-8 weeks! During these 16 weeks we have called, emailed, followed up multiple, multiple times for an update on our windows. It was like pulling teeth to try to get any sort of update. When we did get a hold of him, he was unable to provide an update on our windows and said he would get a notification when the windows are ready. We have asked him to call the manufacturer for an update but doubt he ever did. Most of the time we would not get a call back and would have to keep calling or emailing over and over to get Chris to respond. We realize he just doesnt care. When we would call Cleras office, they would forward to Chris to reach out to us. We feel like we are at the mercy of the one salesman Chris who doesnt care. He just tells us dont worry, Ill take care of you but he has not taken care of us. Chris also brags about the reviews on Homestars, but I cannot believe they have such a high rating based on our terrible experience with Chris and Clera. I have read the bad reviews and surprised there arent more negative reviews like this. Not once did he call us to give us an update on our windows. It was always us struggling to get a hold of him. That doesnt make us feel secure in trusting Clera for our windows. If the customer service is anything like the installation, then we are terrified. I cant believe for such a large purchase like this how poorly the communication is. This week we called Cleras head office asking to speak to anybody else about our windows. They tried to forward us to Chris again! Finally they transferred us to the VP as they called it. We left a message. They called back. This VP called us back and said he would have somebody from installation call us in the next day. We never received that call. We called Chris again today Nov 7, and no answer. We called the VP and left a message that nobody had called back and we wanted a refund. Within the hour an installer named Lared called and said he would start the installation tomorrow. Nobody else called us back to take accountability for the lack of customer service provided by Clera Windows. Once Clera gets your deposit dont expect any updates or communication. You are at the mercy of the sales rep or regional manager who doesnt care once they got your deposit. Wish me luck to have a proper installation with no problems. We obviously have no trust in Clera at this point. Thank you Clera!

    Patio Door

    Dennis our salesman was very professional and always kept us up to date with the progress of our patio door. John Orsorio #2 the installer was very efficient and his expertise showed in his excellent workmanship. The door looks great. L & M

    front door, main floor windows

    ****edited to add...even though the work was redone it doesn't change the experience we had. just because we didn't call back doesn't mean we were satisfied with the way the process went. I don't think it was too much to expect our finish product to look like a professional job when we hired a professional company. Asking the client to accept what they did as the final product was so disappointing. ********** Jimm our sales guy was great, explained it all to us, with the exception of the fact the front door does not get trim and therefore not a finished product(we learned this on the day of install). he helped me figure out the best look for my home and was great. now on to the install..... the install was where we had issues. sales, great, ,follow ups , ,great, product..beautiful .. but installation... that was the issue. they broke my kitchen faucet, which I will give Ryan credit for a very quick follow up and payment for replacement, BUT not before the installer got in my face and pulled the faucet almost out and insist we tape it up with plumbers tape, the hose was broken, not something you can tape. he damaged four tiles of my backsplash. the caulking under my kitchen window looks terrible, before it was nicely done with grout for the backsplash, the replacement was sloppy. the caulking around the windows outside was sporadic. no J trim, which we weren't told isn't included until after. something unless you know windows you wouldn't know to ask about. then the front door... the outside looked terrible. I told him it did not look like a new door, I am including pics of this, he told me..."yeah not my best caulking job", then next tells me he has the name of a guy I can hire to fix it. like seriously?? didn't I already hire a company do do a professional job?? so no trim for the door, they reused the existing j trim from the old door and the old window. they also cut back the siding too far (we were replacing a half moon to a squared off window so they had to cut the siding) and left gaps. this is what they expected me to accept as a finished product. I almost cried. Ryan followed up assured us he was sending someone who takes pride in their work...he sent the same crew. they put on new wider j trim and made it look better, but this is what should have been the final result originally, not something we had to ask to have fixed. I wish I could say I would recommend them but I can't. I know they followed up with us, except after my husband called to see why they sent the same guys, no follow up for that. despite quick follow ups I can't refer them. they left my yard a mess each time they were here with garbage, they left the stickers on all the windows and door(even ones on the outside of my bay window which we had to get an extension ladder out to remove), they are not someone I would want back to my home. I chose them because of the reviews, I only wish I had the experience and results of those who are happy with them had. I know they rebut all the reviews, I have pictures and screenshots of conversations to back what happened. Ryan tried, he followed up, which I was impressed with. but with the installer we had I can't give a good review. I am including before and after pics of my kitchen tile and the original finished door that was supposed to be how they left it until we had to call to have it fixed. I really wished I had better things to report. the pictures of the door show the used j trim, so it's pieced together. shows the caulking job. if you look closely you can see the gap where the siding was cut too far back. when hiring someone you would hope it looks better after they do the work, and I can't say that about the my kitchen or front door.

    Front door

    Entire house windows replacement

    Highly do not recommend Clera Windows. In the beginning, communications was great and we would get timely responds. Order was placed in Oct 2020, Covid has slowed down production and timelines so we fully understand the delay. However, once we got a firm install date of April 2021, it went downhill. We had 23 full window replacements and one patio door replacements done. They did not detail or inform us of how to prep ourselves for it was a very messy and dusty job. We did our best to cover and prep the for second day install as it there so much dust, and wood dust throughout our floors and furniture. After the install, we had multiplied issues such as the windows were not properly sealed and not caulked throughout, thus were leaking. Our backyard patio door was not painted properly and after numerous attempts to contact our sales rep, Steve he does not respond via email or phone to help us or provide any information as to what they will do. We were able to finally book them in to fix up some of the problems by the fall of 2021 but it made some minor issues such as wall paint damage as they had to rip off some window frames to fix the issues. However, the patio door issue as well as some missing parts were not done. They promised they will come by in early spring of 2022 to finish up since winter was upon us and it would be too cold to work on. 2022 is upon us and after several numerous attempts to contact Steve to fix the remaining issues was still futile , we were not going anywhere. We tried to contact other members of the Clera team, but they still pointed us to Steve. An ongoing mess and very unsatisfactory result. No compromise. No regrets is their motto. We really regret going with Clera.

    New Windows!

    The installers have just left and we couldn't be happier with the final product! A huge thank you to Terry who made the entire process as smooth as possible and even delivered early on our timeline. Both Paul and Trey did a fantastic job of installation - they were extremely professional and efficient - but did not rush the job - it is clear to see they take great pride in their work. Paul went the extra mile in ensuring to walk me through each step and get alignment throughout the process - and he was able to answer all my questions - and even cover off answers to questions that I had not yet thought to ask. All in all - we are extremely satisfied and would most certainly have Clera back to service our future window and door needs - and we absolutely would be comfortable recommending their product and their work to friends and family.     Replacement of old windows

    I reached out to Clera and a few other companies back in the summer to get a quote on having three old basement windows replaced. Clera was much quicker to respond and arrange to come out to provide an estimate, and their project manager, Greg, gave a detailed breakdown of what work would be involved, expected timelines, etc. along with answering any questions I had. Pricing was comparable to what I'd received from other companies (that eventually got back to me) and overall I'm very pleased with the quality of the new windows, as well as the aluminum capping that was installed over the old rotting exterior wood. Trevor and the other installers were friendly and took the time to ensure that I was satisfied with the work and the quality of the windows. Greg also called following the installation to ensure that I didn't have any concerns or issues with the products or the install. It was a very positive experience and I'd happily use Clera again for future work.
