We enjoyed working with sales representative Rayan who was very supportive with our after-installation support. We found out only during installation that Clera provides standard door heights, not a custom fit. Two brick-to-brick door openings were higher resulting in gaps above the doors and framing. Although these have since been addressed properly by second installer Ranjan and a new top frame installed, the wall areas above the frames were drywalled and mudded, we are left to sand, prime, and paint these wall areas on our own. Some other smaller issues also prevented a 10 star rating. I was promised a plain, shaker style interior door frame trim but at installation time Colonial was the only style they provided. Jose and team were able to improvise with some plain wood pieces on two doors which is not as professional looking as desired. When the single outward opening door was installed it needed a hinge bumper to prevent damage by wind and Jose asked for cash payment for the bumper as it had not been included as part of the door cost. Our front doorbell was too wide for the new trim so it was cut and caulked to cover one side of it. Suggestions are to inform customers upfront of any discrepancies in door sizes and resulting work required, the style of interior door trim available, and the size of doorbell needed to fit Clera framing. The doors all look great outside and we are happy with the end result, the features and colours we wanted. We would recommend Clera for doors provided our suggestions are implemented.
