Dave from Hoerner Heating & Plumbing did an excellent job replacing a leaky pipe in my basement. My sister recommended them, and my whole experience was positive - the friendly receptionist offered a choice of times and Dave arrived exactly on schedule, explained what needed to be done and had the pipe replaced within half an hour. No more dripping! I had called another company that offered 24 hours service first, and they offered me an appointment in 2 weeks. When I called Hoerner, they offered me an appointment the same day. I would definitely use them again.

A few months ago we were experiencing another heavy rain and the Don River had flooded Bayview Ave. and the Don Valley Parkway. The tenants at our rental property called after 11pm to say the basement was filling up with water. They were trying to keep it under control using buckets to remove the water. I tried calling a few companies. I called Hoerner and had a good first impression over the phone. You can usually detect, even over the phone, if customer service is a top priority for a company. They said they could send someone over within the hour. On such a chaotic night this seemed miraculous -everyone's basements were flooding! It was after midnight and true to their word a service man arrived promptly. He found the problem and cleared the clogged drain right away. He then gave me a discount on the call because it was a quick, uncomplicated job. The discount was not necessary and on an evening of thousands of emergencies I don't think other companies put their customers ahead of their potential profits the way Hoerner did. When other companies were not even taking any more calls Hoerner squeezed me in and delivered. They will certainly get my business again as they have earned it. I now recommend Hoerner to my friends who are looking for a company that is reliable and delivers fast, fair service. Peter

Drain back up at my parents house. Dave came on a saturday within an hour of calling and solved my parents problem. Thank You Dave and Hoerners for answering the phone on Saturday.

A water pipe in my kitchen burst last January. In order to avoid the same problem happening again next winter I was told that the water pipes had to be rerouted away from the uninsulated outer walls of my house. Mike, an excellent plumber from Hoerner came and carefully explained the whole required process to me and gave me better, more money saving advice than a previous plumber from a different firm. I found Mike to be a skilled and personable gentleman who really likes his work and speaks well of the company he works for! This is something rare these days, a guy who enjoys and takes pride in his work! And the praise doesn't stop there...Tracey who manages things at their head office stayed in touch and answered my million questions patiently and even checked in with owner Andrew when I needed a bit more plumbing advice....he even came by as well just to put my concerns about a separate issue to rest...and finally, Mike's colleague/assistant, Calvin, deserves an honourable mention as well...he too was a competent professional! So there you have it: FIVE STARS for Hoerner Heating & Plumbing!! I will definitely recommend them to friends and call them again (although I hope I won't need to for a very long time! ;>). Dave came over and fixed our toilet's leakage problem with great speed and efficiency. All of the parts that were replaced look and work perfectly. Our problem is no more!
