    Leaking mixing valve for hot water heater

    After discovering a leaky mixing valve for the hot water tank, I decided to try Mr. Rooter based on the good reviews. I filled out the form online to request an appointment, and quickly someone from their head office (Elizabeth) called back to confirm the date/time. I was impressed with the ease of scheduling the appointment online, as other contractors this is impossible without calling them directly first. On the day of the appointment, the company called in the morning to confirm that the technician was coming within an hour. The technician (Fardhin) arrived, who was well-mannered and courteos, and explained the costs accordingly, as he noticed issues related to the water pipes that was contributing to the leaks, which also had to be fixed. I thought the prices were a bit high but I didn't have time to compare and get quotes from other places, so I wasn't sure if that was the case. He had a book with all the prices in there so I assume it was fair. After the work was done, the technician cleaned up and looked like did a good job. Afterwards, Mr. Rooter called again to check on the appointment to see if everything went well, which was a nice touch.

    Toilet assessment, removal and installation of new one

    Needed to have someone to remove and install a new toilet in a very short timeframe. Was very impressed from the moment I called and spoke to reception - very friendly. The technician they sent (Will) was so pleasant and worked hard to get the job done quickly. Will needed to come to the house to do an assessment, provide a quote (he provided me with 3 very reasonable choices based on the quality of the toilet we wanted to purchase), then he needed to order the toilet, pick it up, and return to install it. He was very quick, flexible to work evenings and early mornings and was so friendly. Definitely happy with this company and will use again.

    Garburator/Dishwasher Repair

    Brian M. was very helpful. He was polite and courteous. He worked through all the problems presented and gave solutions. Brian made sure the job was complete before leaving. All in all, a good guy with a good company.

    House call/Mr. Rooter

    We just had a home repair with Mr. Rooter/Toronto. Requested Grant Reuston, who is honest, knowledgeable, and a real professional. Knows his stuff and makes sure you understand exactly what work is required, and why. We highly recommend Grant at Mr. Rooter. Have had many other companies for a variety of work, and just never feel as confident that we are being treated fairly. AND the work is guaranteed for 1 year. Thanks GRANT!

    Plumbing

    Brian M kept our appointment as scheduled. He was professional, knowledgeable and approachable. He worked hard to resolve the problem. I found the prices to be fair given he was here for 2 hours. My wife and I would definitely recommend Mr Rooter to others, we were very happy with the service.

    Installation of hot water heater

    Excellent service from Mr. Rooter and especially Brian M. He arrived on time to provide the quote. He came the very next day and did the installation. It was a difficult job as I live in a 3 storey townhouse and the hot water heater is on the top floor. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgable. Thank you Brian and Mr. Rooter for your excellent work!

    One toilet and shut-off tap replaced, two shut-offs installed

    Plumber Will did an excellent job paying particular attention to quality, aesthetics, cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Will inspected the new toilet to ensure it was flawless before installation. Especially nice that old toilet and packaging for the new one were taken away and not left for me to deal with.

    Drain Repair Basement Bathroom

    Grant - the Drain Specialist - a great representative of both his trade and Mr. Rooter arrived at 7:30am on the scheduled work day. From his first visit, two weeks prior, to the completion of the drain replacement - he took the time, along with his expertise and with great personal skills to explain the entire procedure to both of us. We also were very impressed with Alex and his crew. They worked with speed and professionalism and cleanliness which make them all a credit to Mr. Rooter. Grant was the main key in this organization-he answered all our concerns in multiple times of asking and then he organized the follow through with Alex. When everyone left our home it was spotless and finishing up with Grant gave us great peace of mind. Special thanks goes to Mr. Rooter and the company.

    Drains

    Super speedy, yet thorough service. Phil was very pleasant to work with and extremely honest and direct with his recommendations. He respected our home by keeping his work area tidy and covering his shoes when indoors. I highly recommend Phil and the Mr Rooter team!
