    Water line installation for ice maker in new refrigerator

    I have been a loyal customer of Mr Rooter since 2010. The many Plumbing Techs I have had the pleasure of dealing with over the years have been outstanding in both knowledge base and skill set. The completed work has always been exemplary. Job pricing is reasonable. I wish to commend Fardhin, the most recent Tech, who was here to install a water line for the ice maker in my newly purchased refrigerator. Since I live in a home built in the 1930's, which has had many renovations ~ this turned out to be no easy feat by any means! Fardhin worked so diligently and after many creative attempts to find an access he was finally able to complete the job. Before leaving he explained how the connection with the refrigerator would work and showed me the shut off valve on the line should a water leak emergency occur. I must mention that Fardhin had me call the appliance store to double check what type and size connections would be on the refrigerator when it was delivered so as to avoid any problems during installation time. Another job accomplished so well by Mr Rooter! BUT upon delivery of the refrigerator, the connectors sent with the refrigerator did not match up with my water line connection. Fardhin made the return call. I could tell he was concerned. It turned out the connection problem was not an error on his part but rather that of the many confusing un-needed parts sent with the refrigerator. He connected the water line up to the refrigerator in a matter of seconds. Thank you Fardhin for going above and beyond in what was suppose to be a straight forward job! Being a widow and managing a house can be daunting at times, but with the support and guidance from the Techs at Mr Rooter, I am truly able to breathe a huge sigh of relief.

    Kitchen faucet installation

    We had a leak in our kitchen, so called Mr. Rooter to check it out. A technician came over and discovered that the leak was in the faucet that came with our condo. They did this at no cost, which was great. We called them back to install our new faucet, and the technician that came was Brian M. Brian was awesome. I expected him to do an expert job with the faucet, which he did. What impressed me more was just how efficient and professional he was. Arrived on time, pleasant, focused, and did his work without disrupting anything else in our home. I'm rarely compelled to write reviews for anything, but created an account on HomeStars just to share this great experience I had with Brian and Mr. Rooter.

    Bathroom

    Rick from Mr. Rooter arrived promptly, did the work on our toilet quickly and efficiently. It was a Sunday, so we appreciated Mr. Rooter's policy of not charging overtime. The company also gives incentives for using them, like the Advantage Plan.

    toilet

    We had a simple job of re-installing our toilet and called on Mr. Rooter to do it. No mess, no fuss but as time went by we smelled sewage coming from toilet and they came out right away and took care of the problem. Thank you Fardhin for taking care of the problem.

    Repair exposed copper pipedue to very low water pressure

    My husband and I would like to say Thank You to Rick Phillip from Mr. Rooter for a job well done. Rick's amazing knowledge and excellent communication made us felt comfortable the whole time while he handled our situation. Hence we joined the Lifetime Advantage Plan and never look back. Plus I am getting Air Miles (pending at the moment) too! Rick's professionalism and thoroughness are greatly appreciated.

    Washing Machine

    This company dis a great job! He was very resourceful and gave great tips. I've never used this company for plumbing services before but after my experience with them I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Very satisfied with the work that was done.

    Drain clean-out, back-stop valve, epoxy sleeve

    I recommend Mr. Rooter without reservation. We had a sewer back-up into our basement. We found Mr Rooter on Homestars and are extremely satisfied with their service: Courteous, helpful telephone service; the plumber who answered our call (Grant, I believe) arrived within an hour, with no extra fee charged for a last minute, late evening call on a Sunday. Grant was very courteous, professional, knowledgable and careful to minimize mess in our property. We needed to have a new clean-out dug: Mr. Rooter took care of all the permit and inspection work, their team showed up exactly on-time and dug a massive hole in about 2 hours, completing the job much more quickly than I expected. After the back-stop valve they installed had been inspected, they back-filled the hole the next day (on a Saturday) rather than leaving us with a pit in our front yard any longer than necessary. They costed out all our options for dealing with our root problem long-term and in general were very transparent about costs and most cost-effective options for proceeding. Through-out the process we were kept very well-informed about what our next steps were to be. In general, the service was absolutely exceptional.

    Kitchen Plumbing

    Emergency service on kitchen plumping P-trap. Called Sunday at noon, they showed up by 2:30. Easy to book. Friendly and efficient. Laurence did a good job. Prices were ok, probably could have been cheaper elsewhere - but you pay for convenience I suppose.

    Toilet repair

    Lawrence was able to come the same day we called and he was very friendly and professional.The work was done quickly and he explained everything very thoroughly. We're happy with the repair and the price was reasonable.
