Bathtub drain
After trying unsuccessfully to unclog our bathroom drain, we noticed that water was dripping through our dining room ceiling and decided we'd better call a plumber. At 9:00 p.m. on a holiday, we spoke to the Mr. Rooter dispatcher and asked for the first appointment the next day. The dispatcher said they would call again at 8:15 a.m. to confirm the 9:00 a.m. appointment and they did. The plumber, Rick, arrived promptly, looked at the problem, prepared the invoice showing the cost for the service, snaked the drain, showed me the wad of hair the snake pulled out, cleaned up the mess, and even reinstalled the drain hardware with putty to ensure a good seal (we had removed it not knowing that was a no-no), free of charge. Along the way, he was easy to chat with, gave good advice and was respectful of our home. He was done in an hour and we now have a functioning bathtub and no more leaks in the dining room. Thanks to Rick and Mr. Rooter for a very smooth resolution to our plumbing problem!
