Updated review: As soon as the management and plumber (Will) at Mr. Rooter were made aware of what had happened, they acted quickly and professionally to resolve the situation. Will was very understanding of my frustration and went above and beyond to restore what had previously been a complete satisfaction with Mr. Rooter. I couldn't have asked for anything more with regards to how the situation was handled and addressed. I have now experienced first hand Mr. Rooter's dedication to providing good customer service.
Worst Customer Service Ever - and I am referring to the people who run the Toronto location (not the plumbers themselves). I guess once they convince you to purchase a lifetime membership, you're automatically downgraded to a second class customer? Because who cares, they've got your money already.
They rescheduled on me twice, using the excuse that because they had the wrong phone number for me on file, the plumber was unable to meet his appointment. I'm not really sure why that would affect my appointment? I told them I had taken the afternoon off of work to be here. No apology. No remorse. Just annoyance.
So far, still no sign of him. Needless to say, I would not recommend Mr. Rooter to others. And if you're caught in an emergency situation with no option other than Mr. Rooter, make sure NOT to purchase the lifetime membership - unless you actually enjoy being treated like an inconvenience.
