    Replace pipes under kitchen sink from PCP to copper and fix the fill value in my washroom toilet

    Rick and Darren were perfect plumbers. Punctual, job done in a timely manner, friendly, knowledgable, experienced. It was the best experience I have had with a plumber or contractors in general. They were professional and friendly. Costs was at least $200 less than I paid.

    Drain snaking

    My plumber Will was friendly, informative, knowledgable, and also quick! I would recommend this service to my friends. Now I'm just writing more words to fit the min word requirement.

    Clogged drain

    My bathtub wasn't draining- Mr. Rooter sent someone out within a few hours on the same day and the culprit, (a washcloth) was discovered within 20 minutes. The employee was respectful and cleaned up the (small) mess that he had created. A little expensive, but they know what they're doing.

    faucet replacement

    In response to a plumbing emergency, George provided friendly, polite and knowledgeable service.He took time, even though it was late at night, to explain our options. We would definitely use George and Mr. Rooter again.

    Drain fix

    Grant from Mr. Rooter came to our home in midtown Toronto and had to deal with not only a sticky problem but our sticky landlord as well. Our LL had NOT wanted to hire a plumber but had failed four or five DIY attempts. A corroded and broken P trap under the sink had to be replaced and properly sealed as our dish and clothes washers back up into the sink. He had to break into the wall and mesh new piping with our ancient lead structures. We tested the sink with a bunch of water before he left; no leak! Sadly, afterward when we ran the laundry machine, the sink overflowed hugely. Grant came back free of charge and installed vents. When that appeared to slow things, he then snaked an enormous clog out of the main stack. He wasn't even working that morning and spent almost two hours attempting fixes on a very old and rickety plumbing system which were ultimately hugely successful! Through all of this, Grant was great about calling with updates regarding the vents (which he had to get from a supplier) and keeping appointments with us. Getting our LL to actually have the work done was icing on the cake. THANK YOU GRANT!! This is 100% up to par with Mr. Rooter in my experience in other areas.

    Plumbing

    John from Mr. Rooter was great. He showed up when he was scheduled to, assessed our plumbing issue and fixed it, within an hour. He was a pleasure to deal with and we'll certainly be calling Mr. Rooter again for any future plumbing issues.

    Kitchen Sink

    Over charged for a service that they didn't even complete. Was supposed to return to finish the job, but called and told me they couldn't get a repairman to our place for several more days, even though we had a scheduleed appointment. Not because they didn't have parts, but just because. They essentially cancelled my scheduled appointment. Instead of going more days without a kitchen sink, I ripped into their company, and demanded they cancel my invoice. I've found alternative arrangements with another plumber. I'll never us Mr. Rooter again.

    Bathtub Spout and Diverter replacement

    The diverter on the bathtub spout was stuck and water flow could not be diverted to the shower. Based on Homestars reviews, I contacted Mr. Rooter which sent Rick Phillips over to look at the problem. Rick replaced the spout and diverter. Rick displayed outstanding customer service by providing many useful tips on plumbing care and replaced the cartridge as well at no additional cost. Unfortunately, the cartridge was defective and the spout was dripping. I called Rick back who relatively promptly came back and replaced the cartridge. I found Rick to be honest, a good worker and extremely helpful in providing a lot of useful tips and advice on what to keep an eye out for and what might need to be replaced in the future. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter and Rick for any plumbing work.

    Retrieving lost ring from sink drain

    I accidentally dropped my ring down the bathroom sink, and was unable to get it out myself. Rick from Mr. Rooter was quick, efficient, and personable in helping me. He was even kind enough to charge only the base cost, even though it was after midnight.

    Unclog toilet

    They accomplished the task. George Shakh was very friendly and nice. I appreciated that. What I didn't like was that the $15 fuel charge was not explained to me over the phone when I clearly asked if there were any extraneous or additional charges aside from the service fee. My total fee was over $200...which is quite expensive just to use a slightly more sophisticated toilet plunger. In the end, George's professionalism is what impressed me.
