    Toilet loose

    Toilet has been tightened numerous times by son, but, finally called Mr Rooter and Brian Pellett appeared at the door a short time after making the call. He was wonderful in fixing it, was very thorough and, did not make a mess, and gave me helpful information. Would certainly call Mr. Rooter and Brian again, if needed and would recommend him and company to my friends. Velma

    Repair of Water Shut-off valve

    Excellent service! Will came out on a Sunday and thoroughly assessed the situation. Gave us three different possible scenarios for repair and through his hard work and innovation managed to give us the most cost-effective solution. Thanks Will!

    replace broken drainpipe

    I broke the drainpipe on my bathroom sink trying to remove the p-trap. I called Mr Rooter at 8:30 am, very pleasant lady on the phone. The technician John was on-site within an hour. Quick clean repair, very pleased with the service.

    Drains

    I would like to take this opportunity to comment very favourably about my contact with Mr. Rooter. From the original call taker to the technician (Travis Magee) that arrived shortly after our call and all the people he coordinated...they were truly professional. They did quality,timely, and clean work at a reasonable price.

    Power flushing, toilet installation

    Ziggy is an awesome man! Professional, kind, honest, clean, and punctual.I can't say enough about this gentleman. After being burned by another well known plumbing company, I called Mr. Rooter and right off the bat, I knew this company was professional and customer focused. The dispatchers were friendly and warm spirited, again Ziggy did an AMAZING job!! In order to get a better understanding of the issue at hand, he took his time to inspect ALL of the drains and once the problem was pinpointed ( ton of grease build up) he spent the entire day cleaning all of my drains,replaced some shut off valves, etc. and when he was done, he used the camera to show me his phenomenal work. This gentlemen didn't just clean a couple feet of pipes, he cleaned all of my pipes, all the way to the city line!! I HIGHLY recommend Ziggy and Mr. Rooter for any and all of your plumbing and drain issues!!

    Sewage Backup

    Mixed feelings about my services. Mike came out within an hour after I called about a sudden sewage backup that needed emergency service. He was very knowledgeable and realized that our sewage actually went out the back of our house and took a right turn through my neighbour’s yard. The first plumber I had to quote was going to dig in the completely wrong spot of the yard and destroy my parking pad in the process! So we were very happy to hire Mr. Rooter. The men who came to work were very quick, hard workers. My only complaint is that I was quoted $3,800 and the next day, because I guess the pipe went further than expected, they increased my price to $7,500! That doesn’t seem like an accurate quote and I felt a little taken advantage of since by the time my neighbour’s yard was dug up, I didn’t have much choice about whether to finish it or not. Overall, the work was done correctly and in a timely manner.

    Clogged Drain (Kitchen & Basement)

    We called Mr Rooter due to a major clog that was backing up our Kitchen sink and our basement sink. We couldn't even do laundry. They came promptly when scheduled, explained what was wrong, what they would do to clear it, and how we could prevent it in the future. Andrew (our plumber) was great.

    replace floor drain and excavation/backwater valve installation

    I would like to commend Mike Fisher on his excellent service. I feel he is reliable, trustworthy and is actually concerned for the individual customer. He is prompt, seems accountable for his advice and work, and puts the customer's interest first. It is nice to receive such good customer service at a time when customer service no longer seems important. He is a good ambassador for the company.

    sewer line repair

    Sewer backed up. I know zip about plumbing, but had a Mr. Rooter pamphlet. Their local representative, Phil Stinner, came right over and gave a $300 run-through with his "snake", which I viewed on a screen. He gave clear, concise explanations and recommendations. I chose. Next day, the technician, Vadim, did stupendous work, and found the source of an additional leak that was causing me stress. I'm well satisfied.

    Blockage in Sanitary Drain

    I had a blockage in my basement and needed someone to come over right away. Called Mr. Rooter and someone came by. I was told that the job would cost $400 and a camera would be used. In a matter of seconds the blockage was removed and I was told that it was caused by a major belly in sanitary building drain. I was told that I needed to repair it and quoted $1980 for the work to be done. Additionally, I was told that if I found a cheaper quote from another plumbing company, then that price would be matched and additionally even the initial charge could be adjusted. When I asked by how much I was told that it depended on what kind of estimate I would obtain form someone else. (I had no idea that business could be conducted in such a way!) When I proceeded to getting other quotes is when I was finally disillusioned. I was advised that a camera should not be used simultaneously with a snake as a means of a diagnosis as one should at least wait until all water is cleared. I had a plumber look into the drain with a camera for a second time and after spending a long time studying the drains and flushing toilets I was told (and saw it as well) that I do not have a ‘major belly’ and do not need to excavate for $2000. I am disappointed that this took place and I almost fell for this. After all, not a lot of people would pay for the camera to be put in the drain again, just pay for the job to get done and get ripped off. This should not have taken place for the amount of money that is being charged for a job!

You mentioned that you had other plumbers come look at your drain after us, but they did not leave you an invoice or report for the comparison to be made. You do have our number and like I mentioned, any time that is convenient for you, I would make myself available to return and perform a free-of-charge camera inspection and confirm the original diagnosis. More than anything else, we hope that you do not experience future back-ups and that any issues that you have with your drain are fixed properly.
