    Back Flow Valve, Pipe replacement etc.

    We had some plumbing issues after a recent basement renovation. Mr. Rooter who did not do the work initially came in and found some problems that could have seriously ruined our newly finished basement. They did need to cut into our brand new floor but they made great effort to minimize any damage. Phil Stinner and his team were fast, did minimal damage and were great at explaining the process along the way.

    Replace sink shut-off valves

    I required my shut-off valves beneath my kitchen sink replaced. I call Mr. Rooter. George S. was very punctual. his workmanship was excellent and my kitchen cabinet beneath the sink was left cleaner than it was before he started the job. George was courteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Company followed up numerous times to ensure the job was well done. I will definitely use George and Mr. Rooter again. Laurence - GTA

    Review of some issues with toilet, plus a leaking pipe in basement

    I have to say both my husband and I now feel like we were price gouged today. In well less than an hour we paid just over $ 220 for basically a review of some minor issues with a couple of the toilets plus an estimate for the leaking pipe. It just seems that the pricing was just out of control.

    Backwater valve, some pipe replacement

    They were prompt and on time, but some minor details such as them not putting the sink back they removed to get at the pipes was a little inconvenient as I had to re-install it. Plus, their clean up could have been better as there was sand everywhere and some rubber gloves were discarded on the floor. This all happened while I was at work, so I didn't know they hadn't done that until I got home and they were long gone. In the future I would seek out other quotes for the work before just going with a franchise. I guess that's the learning curve with first time home ownership. Plus, I had had Mister Electric come in earlier and not knowing they were affiliated, did not utilize the customer advantage plan I purchased at the time as I should have gotten a 15% discount on the work. I will follow up with them directly and see what can be done, but I am not hopeful as I'm sure it's one of those things you would need to show it at the time the work is being done.

    FAUCET REPLACEMENT

    We called out Mr Rooter in Mississauga because the faucet in our bathroom had broken. They were courteous on the phone and the technician arrived promptly as promised. He was very kind and informative, gave us a no-obligation quote to replace the faucet. We agreed and he replaced our faucet with one that was nicer than the one we originally had! He cleaned up after himself, took payment, said, "Have a nice day!" and off he went. We were impressed with how professional, punctual and informative he was. I would most certainly use him again and highly recommend this company to anyone.

    Toilet Leak - New Toilet Install

    The services from mr.rooter were great. They were at my place in time and were able to deliver quickly and effieciently while at the same time maintaining their quality of work. I definitely don't hesitate recommend them. Great Work!

    Replace shut off valve

    After I turned off or main water shut off it began to leak. I called MrRooter and spook with Sara, who was very helpful and pleasant person. When George (Yuriy) service man arrived he let us know what the problem and solution was. The price was agreed upon before work began. George was a great, completed his work and cleaned up. I would recommend this company and will be using them with future plumbing problems.

    Drain backup, camera check, snake to clear

    The main sewer drain backed a little (not a flood). Phil came round and with a camera looked in and cleared the blockage and gave a solid long term recommendation. The drain backed up again and he came round again and cleared it this time with a snake. The longer term fix was carefully detailed in writing with +/- cost estimates - hopefully he can do that work. Would recommend that you always ask what is included in the free inspection/estimate and do consider your plumbing important to care for even if its not a visible feature of your house.

    Plumbing

    I would like to take this time to say that in phoning as a first time customer on Sunday, February 24 early morning, in a anxious state that I was fortunate to find Melissa Hope answering the phone. Melissa was helpful, compassionate, patient and reassuring on the phone. It was such a refreshing experience, when so often you are in urgent need and you get a voice mail instead of a live person. I felt secure and trusting towards this company as Melissa projected a very professional and helpful image of Mr Rooter Plumbing. I would like to say thank you Melissa for being exceptional in your job, and being so accomodating in every way!

    collapsed drainage pipes

    Early February we had a problem with a tub that would not drain and a toilet backed up to the rim. We called Mr. Rooter on Penn Drive, North York and a plumber was at our home an hour later. Several hours later the water drained away but there was a blockage that could not be cleared. Mr. Rooter gave us an estimate for the excavation of sub flooring, concrete etc. and replacement of the collapsed pipes. As is the way with old houses they found more problems after digging. The plumber discussed the situation, showed us why they had to do the additional work and gave us an estimate of the new costs. They told us when they would arrive each morning and they were there every day on schedule. They told us when they would cut off the water and for how long, and they were right on schedule to turn the water back on so we would have a toilet functioning. Ten days later the clay pipes were replaced in five separate areas, extremely old copper piping was replaced, a new toilet was installed and the sub floor was all replaced. When we needed to call the Mr. Rooter office, the staff who answered the phones were very helpful and cooperative and they were very quick to provide information and solutions to our questions. The staff that came to the house were very pleasant, they explained everything that they were doing, they showed us all the problems that they found and then told us how much it would cost. The excavation crew did a great job of cleaning up all the mud and concrete work that they had to do. We would like to thank Melisa, Sarah and Robin in the office. And we would like to thank Phil, Jahfaru, Richard and Doug, plumbers, technicians etc. We would also like to thank the excavation crew whose names we do not know. YES we are happy with the work that Mr. Rooter did for us. YES we are happy with all of the staff at Mr. Rooter that we came in contact with. YES we would call Mr. Rooter again, any time.
