    Clogged Toilet

    Clogged toilet. Could NOT get it plungered properly no matter how hard we tried. Called Mr Rooter, someone came within the hour! Holy cow! Very helpful, helped clear it out, very knowledgable. Expensive but what can you do.

    frozen pipes

    For the second time this week, my pipes froze. Try finding someone at 8:30 pm! (on a Thursday night.) I called two other companies, who didn't have anyone available for that night. I was freaking out about my pipes bursting. Even though it was my first time calling Mr. Rooter, they were able not only to send someone that same evening, but within less than an hour! The plumber, John Dima, was very nice and knowledgeable. He un-froze our pipes in no time, and gave us valuable advice on where the problem is most probably located in the house. I was very pleased with the speedy response and the professional service.

    Cleared drain -- fast and reliable!

    When we found ourselves with a blocked drain that wouldn't give way with the usual remedies, we called Mr. Rooter. They were highly professional from start to finish. The dispatcher was able to send someone very quickly -- within 60 minutes of our call. The plumber was capable, efficient, and also friendly. We received a call soon after his departure, from the dispatching office, to check on our satisfaction level -- and a few days later, we also received a card of appreciation with a refrigerator magnet inside. (The call afterwards was a nice touch; the card was a bit much.) Overall, it's nice to know that Mr. Rooter is available on such short notice, but the price definitely reflects that convenience. My recommendation: if you have a fairly straightforward plumbing issue that isn't an emergency, you'll probably do as well for considerably less by calling a different (non-"branded") plumber. But if time is of the essence and you want the job done right, Mr. Rooter is there for you.

    Replace pop-up in sink, install toilet handle

    Popup in bathroom sink broken, probably due to improper installation of previous installer. Kept informed on status of technican arrival, a bit late due to weather, weekend etc., but not a problem. Work completed promptly and estimate provided before start. Several other issues repaired at no cost. Overall excellent job

    Fixed leaky washroom sink

    Mr. Rooter was quick. George (Yuriy) Shakh, the plumber, came on the same day we called, and was punctual. He was a professional. He explained the cost and what needs to be done up front. He fixed up the leaky sink in an hour even though it was a difficult job (pipes needed to be cut, and new pipe needed to be glued). He cleaned up all the mess, and left the sink looking like brand new. Very satisfied.

    Clean out drain lines for rental property

    Mr Rooter has been to several of my rental properties and I would not dream of using anyone else. They are reliable and the prices are very competative. I have had the guys around the clean out all the lines in my rental property and a water tank replacement. Highly recommended to get the job done right and on time :)

    Replace clay drains under house

    We called Mr. Rooter because our main drain backed up and caused minor flooding in the basement. After sending a camera down to have a look, they found that the clay drains that run from the City drains underneath our house seemed to be collapsing. They came back to dig out an area of the basement floor where it looked like the problem was. Our basement is finished and we only moved into this house 8 months ago. We bought it because the basement was finished so this news was devastating. Anyway, they had to destroy part of the floor. After the first exploration they discovered that the drains were collapsing from one end of the house to the other. Travis at Mr. Rooter felt very bad about telling us this. Every time he had to call me downstairs to see the new problems I could tell that he empathized and wished he didn't have to give us such bad news. He sent some men over to dig up various parts of the floor in order to replace the drains. These gentlemen worked so hard. This is a very disgusting job and I admire them for doing it. They also felt bad every time they had to show me the decaying clay and also, as it turns out, old iron pipe as well. We were told it would take 5 days but they finished it in 4. They completed the job from initial digging to covering the trenched areas with concrete, and cleaned up all the broken drain, dirt and tree roots that were dug up. We have used Mr. Rooter before for other things so they were the first ones I thought of because I knew they would come right away, that they would be honest with me, and that whatever needed to be done would be done properly. We would definitely call them again (although we hope we don't have to). Travis also worked with our insurance guy to ensure that he understood the extent of our problem. This was a horrible thing to happen just before Christmas, and our son can't move back downstairs until the contaminated flooring is removed and the basement disinfected (but that's a whole other issue now). But Travis and the drain guys were all wonderful to work with and made a truly horrible situation not so horrible. Thank you so much.

    Plumbing

    Every time we flushed our toilet, the water would overflow causing a big mess. There was clearly something wrong and we called Mr Rooter Plumbing. The plumber came to our house on the day of and explained the problem and went ahead to fix it. He charged $125 for the first hour and $50 for every additional hour. It took him a little over an hour to fix our toilet. Everything is running smoothly now. Very satisfied.

    Clogged drains

    Had some kitchen problems with sink/drais being clogged. Called mr. rooter to have a look. They were quick, professional and explained everything that he was doing. Impressed with quality of service, and price was good as well. Have had some negative experiences with other plumbers in the past!

    replace 2 toilets

    This company values their customers. Scheduled appointment was on time and a very helpful woman always returned calls in a timely manner. Travis Magee was excellent, knowledgeable and guided me to choose the toilet that was best suited to my needs. Both toilets were replaced expertly with no mess left behind. When I thought there was an issue with the lid (it turned out to be nothing) Travis was back cheerful and ready to assist with a follow-up visit. This is not the first time I have used Mr. Rooter. They deliver!
