    toilet clog

    The first guy came and refused to snake my drain, insisting that the toilet must be replaced. It was, but kept blocking. I tried to call him back, but nothing. Called Mr Rooter back and they sent another guy who had not bothered to check why he was here. He was rude and left. Third man comes, does the camera snake thing. No block found, but when he puts the toilet back, it is badly tilted, which he denied. I am left with a leaning, cheaply made toilet that blocks frequently. I will never do business with them again.

    Drain clearing and unclogging

    Joseph from Mr. Rooter got to our house within an hour and after only a quick look over what was going on with our plumbing he instantly knew where our problem was and how to help! Not only did he do the base service of unclogging our drains he also made sure to show us how we could do preventative maintenance to our DWV in order to better keep us from having to do this again in the future. Joseph was quick, clean and efficient and he was very friendly and eager to help as well! If Joseph gets a chance to read this, thank you so much for coming by today and helping us out - we REALLY appreciate it!

    Clogged sink

    Joseph was great - came within 1 hour of my call, got the sunk unclogged in record time (this on a Saturday), and was very courteous and considerate - insisted on putting on booties on his shoes even when I said it wasn't necessary. Excellent service - our membership was well worth the money as we don't pay for the service call only the services, even on weekends. Normally I try to use independent companies for my contracting work but for plumbing it's Mr. Rooter all the way!

    Joe was great

    Joe was very helpful and fixed our sink! There were straws In there and he got them all out. Thanks Joe! And thanks for being so reliable as well. Next time we need some servicing we will be sure to ask for you.

    Backflow Preventer for the Bidet

    We recently moved into a custom home and discovered that there were outstanding plumbing issues that needed to be resolved to be compliant with building code. After reading very favorable reviews on Homestars, we contacted Mr. Rooter to help us install a backflow preventer for a bidet. When John came onsite, he installed the backflow preventer, but just to be sure it was the correct part, he contacted the Town of Markham Inspector. Upon learning that the bidet called for a special part (that was not the one he installed), John explained that he would order the correct part and install it for us. Once the part arrived a few days later, John's colleage Mike came onsite to install the part, taking careful steps to hide the tubing behind the bidet. This experience with John and Mike was great, the extra steps that both took to: a) contact the Town for us to make sure the right part was installed, and b) make an effort to hide the ugly tubing, shows the high level of service they take to go the extra mile for a client.     Sewer inspection

    Thank you Mr. Rooter (in particular, Fred Colley, the operations manager) for all your help with the inspection of my mother's sewer system, and all the helpful suggestions that were made. You went above and beyond in a difficult situation, and were professional and honest. Thanks also to the plumber Zygmunt, who was so kind and patient with my elderly mother.

    New taps in two bathrooms

    Marc from Mr. Rooter did a great job swapping out our old hot and cold shower taps with a new mixer, and installing a new tap in another bathroom. We have used Mr. Rooter many times and always find them to be very progressional and reasonably priced. We bought the "Lifetime" membership years ago and it has been a very good investment.

    Plumbing

    Ask for Jafaru. Fantastic service on a Sunday! Quick and professional. Jafaru was courteous and great to deal with, explaining exactly what the problem was and then going to work to fix it. We're very grateful.

    Leaky Faucet

    Saturday night, 11:00 pm. Leaky faucet, didn't know what to do. I called Mr. Rooter. They were here within the hour and sent Joseph Di Stefano a very professional and knowledgeable plumber, who was able to assist me. Thank you Joseph and Mr. Rooter!

    Snaking pipe in basement

    I called on Thursday and was able to get an appointment right away for the time that I needed. I received a call letting me know the technician would be within 30 mins (which he was). The technician was professional and was able to explain my problem with in seconds of my explaination. I am very happy with this experience.
