    3 faucets replaced

    George Shakh the technician was fast, knowledgeable and polite. He was eager to get the job done and he did a great job. I'm glad to have our bathrooms back in working order. Thank you, George.

    Sump Pump Followup

    I came home one night to find the sump pump Mr. Rooter had installed making a constant noise. I was worried something was wrong so I unplugged the unit and immediately called Mr. Rooter. It was very late but the person I spoke to on the phone was very understanding and helpful, and booked the person for the first appointment the next day. I was concerned about getting charged for the service call, but she reassured me there wouldn't be a charge. It turns out the sump pump had shifted and the controller was touching the sides of the tank, so it was jammed on. The technician moved the pump back and assured me it shouldn't happen again. I questioned this since it already happened once. So I'm sceptical, but we'll see. He didn't charge anything which was good (but expected). But he left without saying goodbye. I wasn't sure if he was coming back or not for me to sign something.

    Kitchen Sink and Faucet replacement, Toilet and Faucet replacement in two bathrooms.

    My plumber John Dima was extremely helpful and courteous, the job was done on time and very professionally with no surprises. Dealing with head office on the phone was also very pleasant. All in all a very good experience, would certainly use this plumber/company again.

    Replaced Kitchen and Bathroom faucet

    My Plumber John Dima was excellent. Extremely professional. Replaced my Kitchen and Bathroom faucets in less than 1 hour. He even put on booties over his shoes before entering my apt! Took away my old faucets for recycling as well. Made sure everything worked before leaving. Left working areas clean and tidy. Great service. Highly recommend using this company again! Well worth the price for peace of mind of making sure they were installed properly and not having to worry about flooding my apartment! Excellent workmanship.

    Clogged main drain

    Neil Rouzesl from Mr Rooter Plumbing showed up this morning and took care or our drainage problem. Initially we though it was just something clogged in the toilet as it wouldn't flush, but Neil knew better with just a few quick diagnostic steps and recommended that we scope and snake the drain and take the toilet off. Surely enough we had roots 8 feet down the line. Neil got ride of blockage, double checked, and found another blockage, cleared that and checked again. This guy was thorough. Signed up for a lifetime membership as well, and will definitely use them again.

    Clogged water pipe in the kitchen

    Unfortunately my water pipe in the kitchen was clogged and since I never needed a plumber before I looked up the reviews on the Internet. After heavy rain the day before the first plumber I called had nobody available the same day. So I called Mr. Rooter and it was no problem to send somebody almost immediately. He arrived on time, disconnected a pipe and got rid of the problem. But he was unable to reconnect the pipe and blamed it on the nut that was metal and not plastic as it was “supposed to be”. So it became more expensive because he had to change the nut. I was irritated because it was perfectly connected before. He also said that all pipes should be replaced and was ready to do it. What was strange to me is that when I asked before he started his work how much it would cost to replace all pipes he said $ 300. Now suddenly it was $ 500. Keeping in mind that I had no water leaking before I declined to have the pipes replaced. So after he finished I couldn’t use one of my basins anymore because this pipe (the one he took off to fix the problem) was leaking even after replacing the nut and I had to pay more than the estimate was. I had the impression this person was not fully aware or wasn't sure what he should be charging. (First $ 300, now $ 500 for the same pipes?). The following day I called again and complained. The very friendly person on the phone had Fred (I asked, his last name is not Flintstone) call me who offered to come the same day. To my surprise he was very friendly, very knowledgeable and fixed my problem and even a little bit more. He really made up for my bad experience I had the day before and I would call Mr. Rooter again any time.

    Leaky toilet

    I called Mr. Rooter on a Thursday afternoon, and they were able to send someone out right away. Justin arrived within the hour and he quickly identified the problem with our leaky toilet. He was able to explain everything to me before doing the work (including the full price), and was professional, polite, and pleasant. He fixed the leak quickly (a worn out seal in the tank), and he left everything in the bathroom clean and tidy. I was very impressed with the service we got from Mr. Rooter, and particularly grateful since we only have the one toilet for the whole house!

    plumbing

    I am very happy with my recent Mr Rooter experience thanks to the very courteous and knowledgeable technician, John Dima. We had been experiencing weak water pressure in our kitchen and upstairs bathroom after the city had replaced the lines outside our house a few months back. John not only fixed the problem but explained why it had become an issue and how to avoid it happening again in the future. I will happily recommend John Dima and Mr Rooter to anyone looking to solve a plumbing issue in their house.

    Fixed the shower tap

    I called Mr. Rooter with a request for service. The phone was answered by a freindly helpful voice on the other end of the line. I was assured that a technician would come out that same day. I got a a call 1 hr. later informing me that someone was coming and would be there winin the next half hour and he was! Keith introduced himself, and was polite throughout. He assesed the problem right away, gave me an accurate quote, had the parts on hand and had the thing fixed with no mess in less than an hour. A++ for Keith and Mr. Rooter!!

    Replacing worn taps

    John Dima of Mr Rooter did his usual magic replacing worn kitchen taps. He has been here before and I'll ask for him again. Pleasant, courteous and professional. Readily changed his schedule to accommodate mine.
