    Replacement of Toilet Shutoff Valves

I was replacing my 2 toilets' filler valves when I noticed one of my toilet shutoff valves had a cracked plastic head and sometimes wouldn't shut off completely. To head this off in the event of emergencies, I decided to replace the one faulty one. When Mike Boboc of Mr. Rooter came (on time), he replaced the broken valve with a valve that had a metallic handle that only required 1/4 turn to enable or disable the water. The new valve is much easier to use. This was way better than my junk builder grade shutoff valve so I had Mike replace the second shutoff valve as well. So far, no leaks.

    Replace the house shutoff valve.

John met all my expectations in replacing my shutoff valve. He arrived on time, explained the work involved, restated the agreed upon price, and completed his work quickly and thoroughly. I knew exactly what was to be done before he started. He respected our home by covering his shoes as he walked through the house. His work was flawless and of a very professional quality. He took pride in his work and I was tremendously pleased with what he did for us. And most importantly he was most friendly and engaging to me as a/his customer. My faith in his work was sky high! I will certainly call Mr Rooter again, ask for John, and will recommend these guys to anyone who needs a "great" plumber. This is my third call to Mr Rooter and I have always had great results.

replace leaking waste pipes above kitchen ceiling

Brian and Neil came on time per appointment (despite severe snowstorm)They professionally replaced leaking pipe, and rectified several errors that original installer had made. Explained each step, and detailed why they were changing what they did. Cleaned up when finished. Would definitely recommend.

replace corroded water pipe under kitchen sink

This aternoon i had a leaky pipe under then kitchen sink that i had noticed for the first time. Upon taking a closer look i put my thumb right through the pipe. I knew right then and there i needed a profesional for this job. I made a few calls before i called Mr. Rooter. No one was able to send a plumber today. Mr. Rooter was able to send one and three hours later john came to my door. He took a quick looks at the pipes, told me me exactly how he was going to fix it and quoted me the price with in 5 min of his arrival. Within 45 min the work was done, John was on his way and i had use of my kitchen sink again. Thanks again and when i need another plumbing job done i know where the first call will be placed.

    PLUMBING REPAIRS

John was careful and timely, on a relatively small job - most appreciated. There was a leaky toilet, and also an outside tap requiring repair. John was positive and helpful - enjoyable to have him do the work.

    Kitchen faucet was leaking

I was completely satisfied with the work done, and John was cheerful and very nice the entire visit. I noticed a leak under the sink yesterday and thought it was one of the pipes. Instead, it was a corroded faucet. John saw the problem immediately and replaced the faucet.

    Toilet

Phil did a great job with fixing my broken toilet. Very professional, very respectful with my home and is simply a decent guy. Made sure it was done right, took his time but got it done relatively quick. Cost wise, not the cheapest but you get quality work for what you pay. Highly recommend.

    Replace toilet

My 1 year old dropped a small toy down the toilet. She tried to tell her daddy but he misunderstood and he flushed. Water came spilling up. Since my husband was unable to clear the block, we called Mr. Rooter. They tried to clear the block first from the top but had to take the toilet out and try to clear from the back. No luck, the toy was stuck and would not break. The toilet had to be replaced. Mr. Rooter replaced our toilet with a better one, one with a wider tunnel to avoid toy blockages in the future. They were very clean, friendly and efficient. They did their best to keep the cost down, but when the toy has you beat, you just need to replace.

We had a big leak under our sink in out restaurant and needed it fixed immediately. We called Mr Rooter and Neil showed up in less than an hour. He was very pleasant and very patience working in our busy kitchen, he fixed the leak and brought the piping up to code. Will definately use Mr Rooter again!

Replacing sewer pipes in & outside of house

Mr. Rooter replaced our sewer line in and outside of our home. They did a good job of replacing the sewer line and completed the job in 3 days despite the cold temperatures outside. However, as a part of the job, they were to replace the cement on the floor. They did a horrible job in the cementing as they failed to fill the void with compacted gravel or similar material before pouring the cement. As a result, we have hired a contractor to excavate the cement in the basement bathroom as it has collapsed after only a week! While excavating the contractors have uncovered coffee cups and pop cans inside the floor of our bathroom and have commented on the shoddy job performed by Mr. Rooter. Totally unprofessional work! I would have expected more when you pay northwards of $12K to do the job. We never had an issue before, but will now no longer utilize Mr. Rooter for any of our needs.
