Replacement of Toilet Shutoff Valves
I was replacing my 2 toilets' filler valves when I noticed one of my toilet shutoff valves had a cracked plastic head and sometimes wouldn't shut off completely. To head this off in the event of emergencies, I decided to replace the one faulty one.
When Mike Boboc of Mr. Rooter came (on time), he replaced the broken valve with a valve that had a metallic handle that only required 1/4 turn to enable or disable the water. The new valve is much easier to use. This was way better than my junk builder grade shutoff valve so I had Mike replace the second shutoff valve as well.
So far, no leaks.
