    Kitchen Faucet install, shut off install, and plumbing repair

    Robert Plantic came in to our recently renovated home only to find that the plumbing done in our kitchen which had a leak which caused our call to Mr.Rooter. He found the large flaws that werent present which were mistakes from our previous contractor. He gave us a great deal, was kind, curtious, and answer all questions we had to the best of his ability. He put everything to within code and was very clean and shows pride in his work. Will recommend Robert and Mr.Rooter to all for their plumbing needs. Thanks again to Mr.Rooter and Robert Plantic,you've saved our home from what was only a matter of time from being a tremendous disaster. Panella Family

    Kitchen flood

    I wanted to let Mr. Rooter know what a positive experience I had with your employee Robert Plantic yesterday. Robert was called to my home after it was discovered that we had a leak under our kitchen sink that consequently had poured out all over the kitchen floor. He went above and beyond by cleaning the area and to boot he even put the wet towels etc. into the laundry room. He took the time to explain fully what had happened to cause the flood/leak and what we needed to do in order to repair the problem. As a result we have a new set of taps in the kitchen that both my husband and I are very pleased with. As my husband said it is more than he expected.

    Change Bathtub Faucet

    Mike Ranger from Mr. Rooter plumbing provided exceptional service. I had a bathub faucet that had corroded to the point that I was unable to switch the knob from bath to shower. The replacement faucet that I had bought..he explained would have done the job but was a quick fix and he installed a better one and also sold me on the preferred customer plan. He was very friendly, professional and I felt very comfortable having him in my home and was very satisfied with the work. As a single, condo owning woman, I am leary about who I call and who I let into my home and I can say that I would defintely call Mike Ranger again ...but hopefully I won't have to!

    Unclogged kitchen/laundry drain, helped troubleshoot and solve other problems

    Chris from Mr. Rooter was courteous and professional and thorough. He solved the immediate problem (clogged drains) and helped to troubleshoot and solve other problems - showerdrain leak and toilet not flushing well. He was knowledgable, efficiant, friendly and the overall cost was reasonable given the time he took to solve our problems - The cost included a one time lifetime membership fee with Mr. Rooter (which reduced this cost and future costs) and an environmentally friendly product to help our drains stay clear of grease in the future.

    replacement of sink and dishwasher drainage system and replacement of several valves

    I have had Mr. Rooter do two jobs for me now. Both of the plumbers who came to my home, Robert and Andrei, were knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of my home. They did great work in a timely manner. I would recommend this company to anyone.

    Rescuing family cat

    Our call to Mr. Rooter on Wednesday March 25th, was not your typical plumbing emergency. In fact, the only commonality there, was that our mishap began in the bathroom which was undergoing its second day of renovations. Our cat Karma had gotten curious as most cats do and decided to explore; but then she went missing and the only indication of her whereabouts was her faint meowing sound around 3 pm which disapperared shortly after 5 pm. Unable to find her and worried that she may be hurt or not found, we called all possible animal care providers looking for help. After desperately having called many services like the Toronto Humane Society, Wildlife Animal Rescue, Animal Control and 911, it was suggested for us to call Mr. Rooter! I have to admit that I was a bit skeptic about calling a plumbing company for help with this situation, but was otherwise desperate for assistance. Upon arrival of their plumbing technician, Mr. Robert Plantic, the professional search for Karma began. Robert inspected the possible areas where she could have gotten into, and then proceeded with the assistance of the snake and computer/camera and explained what he was going to do. His knowledge and caring way of reassuring us with words that Karma would be found, left us with hope. We later learned that Robert, who was in the office when our call had come in, had stepped up to the plate to do the rescue as he too adores cats. His job turned out to be somewhat tougher than he possibly imagined. After almost 2 hours of looking into furnace ducts, pipes, in between walls and under floorboards, Robert located Karma who had crept underneath the bathroom floorboard. As the renovators didn't know that she was there, they had proceeded with laying down the floorboards before leaving for the day. Possiby afraid of the noise, Karma had crept to a space approximately 10 feet away from the opening. She was too far off to reach and had to be enticed to come out. Robert reassured us that Karma was okay as he could see her wide and terrified eyes staring back at him. About an hour or so after Robert left, Karma came out and all was well. Robert even called back the next day to see how Karma was. Many thanks to Robert for his professionalism, awesome customer service skills, dedication and care! We will recommend Mr. Rooter and most definitely ask for Robert Plantic and his services!!! P.S. My mother and family can't thank you enough for "saving" Karma! Sincerely, Belinda Medeiros-Felix

    Total basement reno

    Had a great experience with these professionals after two botched jobs by others. Best of all - not paying by the hour. If your lucky enough to get Frano on your job you can rest easy - he's fantastic. I'll be using these guys for all my plumbing needs in the future.

    replace kitchen faucet

    A leak in the kitchen faucet had gradually become something of an embarassment and also a real annoyance. A call to Mr. Rooter in the noontime (or soon after) resulted in a technician appearing in mid-afternoon to present an estimate and then replace the faucet. Ziggy presented himself as being quietly knowledgeable to the point where I felt that all I had to do was provide him with the new faucet I had purchased and let him do the job. The quality of workmanship was high. Afterwards, he asked to check the plumbing in the house (a Mr. Rooter policy) and this ended in having a toilet repaired at no charge. This was both helpful and very reasonable on Mr. Rooter's part.

    Complete Shower Kit Installation

    Troy(Crawford),a friendly and knowledgeable Mr.Rooter,installed a complete shower kit in our bathroom;explained valueable suggestions easy to understand inc.prices to pay(shown in a pricelist binder). From start to finish,we saw professionalism and quality in his work. Tried & tested upon completeion,we are happy to say to him he did an excellent job for us. Thanks a lot Troy and Mr.Rooter GTA.     Sewer drains blocked

    I don't like surprises. One day, last fall, we found suds overflowing from the washing machine drain pipe where it goes through the basement floor. I guess we were lucky to get that early warning signal. After a quick flip through the Yellow Pages, we called a few places and after getting some pretty iffy answers on cost and time from other places we called Mr. Rooter. Right off the bat the receptionist was able to confirm the approx time that a technician could come by in the evening, and the cost for the service call. No surprises. The technician arrived on time and diagnosed that our trap had to be dug out and removed. He also confirmed the cost and arranged for a crew to come by the next morning, which they did. By mid day our drains were running again. Once the work was done they were able to confirm the drain lines were in good shape, from the house to the street with a close34d circuit camera. And as a bonus they deducted the cost of the evening service call off our repair. We were impressed by the service and have since had Mr. Rooter come back and do some plumbing work for us eg. replace the last runs of galvanized pipe, and install some taps and a water filter system. And I must say, we got the same reliable 'no surprise' service on those occasions too.
