    Clogged drain

    Update 2 (2017-08-24): Sorry for the late update. Sean Moreland came true to his words and made the cost adjustment payment. Please accept my thanks. I have adjusted up (mid/ave from lowest) my star review after realizing that things could have been better if only concerns were brought to the attention thru proper channel/person. Update 1: Thanks to Sean Moreland for reaching out. He promptly phoned me on the same day of my initial post and explained. The management is well represented by how he professionally deals with the situation; I can tell from the discussion that if the situation was made known to the management, then proper cost adjustment applicable to the work difference would have been done. I hope that he be true to his words that the request of cost difference as he promised will be returned. Original Post: drain in March 2017. They convinced us that backwater valve is required and roughly quoted for indoor price of $2800 or outdoor of $3800. After scanning the area they said that it is outdoor but after digging they realized it's not the location for the valve but actually indoor & was mistake. But I asked for adjustments/discount but did not give me still paid for outdoor price, even after I called the office no adjustments or discount.

    Hello, In March 2017 we visited your home to assist you with a problem you were experiencing with a clogged drain. It was determined that a section of pipe below ground needed to be excavated and replaced in order to fix the problem. We proposed that since we were excavating to replace the pipe, it would make sense to install a backwater valve, which is designed to protect your home from certain types of flooding. We admit that our plumber determined the pipe that needed replacing was located outside your home when in fact it was located just inside your home below the basement floor. We apologize for this mistake. We will also be contacting you to discuss your comments regarding the cost for the work performed. We do appreciate the feedback.

    I had Daniel Thomas come out a couple weeks ago to fix a few outdated plumbing problems and some plumbing that was done incorrectly by the previous owners. Showed up in the expected time frame and work was completed along with a few other suggestions he had made about other potential issues, since he was here may as well fix it before it becomes a bigger problem. Very knowledgeable and friendly, would not hesitate to call for any future problems. Scope of work included replacing faucet, strainer baskets that's completely rusted thru and detached from plumbing line, old valves replaced that seized and wouldn't shut off, and replacing the entire tubing because it was sloped up to the drain and the sink wasn't draining properly and previous owners had used the wrong pieces debris was all trapped inside and since the wrong tubing was used we could not get the trap off to empty it. Everything has been working great.

    Clogged bathtub drain

    Clogged bathtub drain. Called Mr Rooter, plumber arrived within 4 hours of making call. Plumber (Rick) was professional and informative. He determined the problem, quoted price, and snaked drain to clear clog. Thought price was a little high, but you are dealing with a professional with the knowledge, proper equipment and the problem is rectified quickly.

    Leaking Kitchen Sink

    Ron Jackson serviced our kitchen sink pipe repair and was fast and friendly. Mr Footer was the only company of three we contacted to return our call. Would highly recommend.

    Blocked main drain

    Stephen Hughes, Chris Cochrane and Grant from Mr Rooter Gta were great and very professional at a time when I was overwhelmed with anxiety about the mess this blockage generated.

    Backed up toilet about to overflow in the middle of the night

    Called Mr Rooter in a panic as my toilet was about to overflow, could've turn off the water, etc. Greg Hertier was able to clear the blockage with the auger. The toilet was also wobbly and it was discovered that it had been installed incorrectly and would cause further problems in the future. He was able to repair the existing toilet and installed a new water shutoff valve. Before I gave the ok to proceed with each repair Greg carefully went over the repair and cost and upon completion reviewed what had been done. He was very professional, thorough and willing to answer any questions I had as well as to suggest a couple of issues I should have corrected in the future. I would use his services and that of the company happily in the future.

    New toilet installation

    Very, very satisfied with the job that Rick did. He was friendly, courteous, took the time to explain everything that he was doing, and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter, and Rick, for any sort of plumbing job - top-notch work!

    Plumbing

    This is the second time I have requested and received outstanding service from Mr. Rooter Plumbing --- Robert Cassels was an extremely professional representative for this company. Robert explained everything in detail prior, during and after the services were performed. I would highly recommend this company for any of your home plumbing needs but more importantly I would request Robert Cassels to be our service man again. Thank you!

    backwater valve inspection, change pipe for outdoor hose

    we wanted our backwater valve inspected and to change the pipe leading to outside hose because old one was incorrect and all rusted. we trust Mr Rooter and call them everytime we need some work done at our home. Waqas and Fernando did a terrific job!

    Main Water Shut Off Valve Fixed

    Re: Rick Phillips (Licensed Plumber) He was very helpful (w/ his assistant Ferdinand) on fixing our main shut off valve. He was also very giving on answering any/all my questions. Thank you Rick.
