We called Mr. Rooter last week when we noticed that our toilets were backing up and there was water coming up from the floor drain in the furnace room. Stephen was at our doorstep within 45 minutes. He put a camera in the floor drain and broke the bad news that tree roots had taken over the sewer pipes and that the clay pipe was completely broken. Understanding that this was a big job, Stephen took his time and explained our two options and their pros and cons. We made a decision on which option to go with and a crew was assembled and at our door by 9am the following day. Unfortunately the start of the day was rocky. There were many different opinions on how to proceed and a lot of undue stress as a customer. However, once a plan was set, work progressed well for the remainder of the day. The following morning was the same; some stress about how to proceed, some frustration on our part as one of the contractors left the site for over 5 hours and didn't get back until after supper, but I will say that they worked until 2am and didn't leave the site until they were done. Stephen was there throughout the entire process either in person or via phone/text and was incredibly patient with my 1000s of questions. Everything was fully explained and laid out. No guessing. The City Inspector said that the work was done very well and we feel confident with the outcome (plus there's a 25 year warranty on the work we had done). They aren't your cheapest option but for something this big, we wanted a reputable company that would stand by their work. Overall, I am pleased with Stephen and his crew and really appreciated how hard they worked (all the way up to 2am)! Thank you guys for coming to the rescue!
