    Roots in sewer main line

    I phoned Mr Rooter the morning after my floor drain had backed up. Stephen showed up withing a couple of hours (we're a few hours outside the city) diagnosed the problem as being some roots in my main sewer drain. After deciding to go ahead with the fix, Roman and Vladymyr arrived the next day and dug the holes both inside my basement and in the front gardens to repair the problem, Stephen then came back the following day to inspect and finish up the job. We had a few hiccups during the process but overall fantastic service by everyone. Very pleased!

    Fixing of Faucet and Leak in the Sink

    Earlier I had the leak in the Sink where the pipe was connected for the fridge, which got fixed by Mr. Rooter company Tech in a more professional way, now I don't see any leak.

    Shower cartridge removal

    Shower cartridge broke and I had a hard time removing it so called 3 plumbers from home stars and mr rooter was able to send one same night. Ron was the plumber and looked at the problem. I was quoted over $450 to remove the shower cartridge!!! Wow, I told him that's ridiculous. He then lower d the quote to $330 but I told him that's still too much for a simple job. There's nothing else he could do with the price so I reluctantly went with it because I had to shut the main water line to the house to stop the water flow in the shower. It took him 1 minute to remove the cartridge and I told him theres no way this should cost $340! I guess he agreed as he lowered the price down to $275. I still think it's way too over priced but I just wanted it over and done with since it was getting late. Yes he fixed my problem but I feel completely gouged. Don't think I'd call them back in the future. Response: As I stated, he did the job but the 1 minute it took him to remove the cartridge shouldn't cost $275 (and I even provided the replacement cartridge). I think most, if not all, clients would agree with me on the pricing.

    Bathroom toilete

    A few days ago, I had a team from Mr. Rooter fixing some of my plumbing in the house. I was very impressed with their work, so neat and clean and friendly, overall the service was amazing. I will definetely recommend Mr Rooter to all my friends. They even did a follow up call the next day. good job!

    Two Toilet replacements

    Leaky toilets and high water bills were something we planned to get around to dealing with at some point ... but when the City sent us a letter telling us our water use was 3 to 4 TIMES normal we had to do something ASAP. We purchased 2 toilets and hired Bruce at Mr. Rooter to install. Both professional and affable, he did the job fast and effectively and now we have great toilets and no water leak issues. Highly recommended.

    Repair of equipment inside the toilet tank

    I called Mr. Rooter today because of noise and running water in my toilet tank. The technician came within an hour and diagnosed the problem quickly. He replaced the inner guts of the tank. The work was completed very satisfactorily.

    repair of a broken faucet

    Chris Cochrane has repaired the faucet in our bathroom. He is very professional and polite. He has quickly explained me the problem, repaired the faucet and checked other installation to make sure there won't be another leak. I recommend him very highly. If I need help from Mr Rooter, I will definitely ask for Chris to come again.

    Main drain back up at down town hospital

    Our main building drain backed up after hours so we gave Mr. Rooter a call since the on site plumber shift had ended and was a pretty extreme emergency. Chris and grant showed up very well equipped with snake machines and cameras to help clear the blockage. Very clean very efficient and did a great job to help us out! Thanks for the great service.

    Sink clogged

    Brian came to my place within the time he was scheduled to come. He explained to me what was the issue and provided a quote to fix the problem. He promptly fixed the clogged sink. He also provided helpful tips on how to prevent this from happening again. I would recommend Mr Rooter.

    Snaked My Clogged Drain..

    Prompt on time as promised.. Professional appearance, and cleanliness.. The flat fee of $340 to snake my drain for 20 mins is a bit excessive, and no one warned me they work like this (plus a fuel surcharge of $15).. I will give them props for pointing out the mold damage from my clogged drain is covered by insurance.. Overall I will advise people to hire these guys BUT be very aware of their fee structure in advance.. You should asses if your scope of work is worth their flat fee structure (which can act as cost containment or cost growth depending on your situation)..
