Mr. Rooter Plumbing of GTA reviews (1922)

Rick Phillips from Mr. Rooter came and very professionally fixed our problem. It turned out to be a relatively quick fix and he took me though the steps. Would recommend him highly.

Gary Hilts was phenomenal. He was extremely precise, patient, thorough and courteous. I would recommend him to anyone. I was very impressed with his expertise and quality of workmanship.

Quality pleasant expert service. We're very pleased with Ron's work. He explained the job carefully and did a great job. We've used Mr Rooter before and we'll use them again.

The toilet in our bedroom en-suite broke first thing in the morning. I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing and I was told a plumber would show up between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. The plumber ( Chris Cochrane) arrived on time and quickly realized that the 16 year old toilet just wasn't salvageable. He along with his trainee Nathan then proceeded to replace the toilet with a more efficient, modern toilet. I also had then replace the faucet and do a few other plumbing jobs in the house. They were happy to help with any issues. What really impressed me was that they took away the old toilet and even washed the floor in the bathroom!! I was very happy with Chris' service.

Our kitchen sink was backed up so we called a few plumbers in Markham to help us with our backed up kitchen sink. We selected Mr. Rooter Plumbing because they informed us that the plumbing technician would come over to look at the problem, provide us with a quote to fix the problem and if we were not interested or not happy with the quote there was no charge for the initial visit and diagnosis. We were also informed that a plumbing technician would come over to our house between 2 and 5 pm in the afternoon. We received a call around 1 pm from Mr. Rooter Plumbing saying he would be over by 2 pm and promptly at 2:00 pm Robert Cassels from Mr. Rooter Plumbing in Newmarket showed up and knocked on our door. Robert looked at our sink, went through some of his tests to diagnose the problem and gave us a quote. We reviewed the quote with Robert. The price quoted was very reasonable and we asked Robert to go ahead with the work. This was our first experience with Mr. Rooter and I must say that Robert Cassels did an outstanding job. He did an excellent job explaining the various steps he took to fix the problem, and recommending things we should do so that we don’t run into the problem again. While Robert was fixing the backed up kitchen sink, we asked him if he could give us a quote to fix the shower faucet in our upstairs bathroom. We liked the quote to fix the shower faucet which Robert fixed quickly and efficiently leaving us with a new fully functional shower faucet. Just when we thought Robert was done, he asked us if we would like a no charge plumbing checkup of the rest of our bathrooms and sinks. Again, Robert did an excellent job with the plumbing checkup giving us a list of potential issues and recommendations to fix the issues. All in all, our experience with Robert Cassels from Mr. Rooter was excellent and we would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing.

This was my second experience with Mr. Rooter and it was nice as great as the first. The technician Gary was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Thank you Gary again for all of your help!Cheryl

We discovered a leak inside of our basement of a sewage pipe leading to our septic system. We called Mr Rooter and Krisztian Horvath who was on call came very quickly. He fixed the leak quickly and efficiently. He also talked to the insurance adjuster who was also there. Mr Rooter is our regular plumbing service and we were very pleased with their prompt service Saturday morning. We intend to keep them as our plumbers!

Water to the shower wouldn't turn off so we had to turn the water off to the house. We had a wedding shower that afternoon and expected 50 guests. Dispatch sent Ron over and he was curtious and very understanding and had the issue fixed and the water back on leaving me plenty of time to get ready for the guests

We are very pleased with the quality of work performed by Chris Cochrane in the replacement of the two toilets and vanity unit. He arrived on time and went to work immediately and impressed us with his attention to detail. After the work was completed, he cleaned the work areas and left them spotless. Chris was assisted by Nathan and both of them were friendly and professional.

On Canada Day weekend the fill valve on one of my toilets started leaking. I also had a couple of leaky bathroom faucets that I had been putting off getting fixed. Having used Mr. Rooter a couple of times before, they were my plumbers of choice to call again. I called and made arrangements for a Monday morning appointment. First thing Monday morning Rick Phillips arrived to assess the issues. After showing him the problem areas, we embarked on a lengthy discussion about repair versus replace. Considering that my toilets were ancient 20 gallon, original to the condo fixtures, it made no sense to waste money repairing them. Same with the bathroom faucets (one was so corroded that it would have to be sawed off). I decided that since he was going to be here anyway, it would be a good idea to install shut off valves for toilets and sinks as well. And finally, to add to the list, I decided to replace the ancient, original shower/tub faucets and spouts. After two very long days, everything got completed (including new metal braided hoses and shut off valves for the washing machine as the hot water tap decided to conveniently break while he was here). In short I got 2 brand new toilets, 3 bathroom sink faucets, 3 bathtub/shower faucets and spouts with retrofit plates, 8 shut off valves, 2 braided metal hoses and 2 shut off valves for the washing machine. It was a lot of work as Rick kept finding "surprises" along the way that required thought and creativity to resolve. Throughout the job, he kept his sense of humour while working diligently and with great expertise (which comes from his many years of experience). I am extremely happy with everything and I appreciate the many tips he gave along the way for taking care of and maintaining things. I will never hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for expert plumbers to do the best job possible. You get what you pay for. And thank you Rick, you're the best!!!
