I had a new high-end KitchenAid dishwasher installed to replace an older dishwasher that was leaking. A technician from Mr. Rooter came and did the install. Unfortunately, there was a leak that could not be resolved. As it seemed to be an appliance issue I had to call KitchenAid who dispatched a very skilled technician for the very next day. In less than a minute the KitchenAid technician determined that the dishwasher had not been installed as per the actual instructions. He said if they were followed exactly there would be no issue. He left within 10 minutes and told me to have Mr. Rooter come again and do this. I explained the situation to Mr. Rooter and said that as I was starting a new job the next week I could not take time off work to be around for the technician. Mr. Rooter said that the current technician was finished work for the day but that they would get another one for me within the hour. They did and when I told the new technician what the KitchenAid technician said and showed me, the Mr Rooter technician fully understood everything and said there would be no problem. Sure enough, within 30 minutes it was all done and it appeared to be working fine without any leaks. I then verified this a few hours later after putting the dishwasher through its full paces. I would have given this a 5 star review, however, I did have to involve KitchenAid themselves (who fortunately responded very quickly), and then ultimately Mr Rooter again. However, Mr Rooter was then determined to resolve this quickly, which they did, so I am still quite pleased. This is why it is best to use a professional plumbing company like Mr Rooter, because even in the event of a mistake they will rectify it quickly and professionally, unlike some regular independent contractors that never seem reachable when you really need them. I will definitely use Mr Rooter for my future plumbing needs. (Note that I had some other plumbing work done as well so the cost wasn't just for the dishwasher install).
