Folks, for anyone requiring the services of a professional plumbing and drain company, Mr. Rooter is the one I recommend, Why? I had a water main leak recently, having recently lost my husband, who was responsible for all these situations, I was left to deal with this alone. Called Mr. Rooter, they were prompt, professional. and courteous, gave me an estimate and left. I thought to satisfy myself on the quote, I should call around for different estimates. The others were in or around the same ballpark when it came to price (all 5 of them) One said he is the best in the business, the other said He might have to break part of my bedroom to fix the problem but I would be responsible to fix the drywall and cleanup after the work was done, another showed up with a backhoe, knocked on the door and told me his boss said I would have to pay him $1,500 cash up front before he started doing any work. Another told me part of my driveway would be dug up but he would not be repairing it once work was done. I mentioned to him that I had called Mr. Rooter and already got an estimate from them, it was then I got to know how unethical, and cut-throat this business really is. These contractors were bad mouthing, low balling their estimates, didn't seem to have a clue as to how best to get the job done without ripping apart walls, etc., only to raise their prices once they get the job. After all the estimates and time wasted. Mr. Rooter out performed them all with their professionalism, good business ethics, and above all, honesty and a job well done. They left my property clean and guaranteed their work. For me, I would highly recommend this company and commend them on and excellent job.
