Mr. Rooter Plumbing of GTA reviews (1922)

The technician was professional and competent although my issue didn't get resolved but that's a different discussion. My problem was with the dispatch, I created a service request on a Friday, the lady wrote down all my info and arranged a tech to come on-site on Sunday. After not hearing anything back from the company on Sunday I call them up and they don't have any record of my service request! I give them all the info again and now they say there is a trip charge for weekends which I was NOT told about when I called before and since I had arranged with my tenants I had to accept the charges. I didn't end up paying the trip charge since I had the tech do the work which waved it but still, at least an apology would've been nice for losing all the info about my appointment and not advising about the trip charge!

The plumber (Mr. Waqas Ahmad) arrived on time, was very professional and completed his task with efficiency. We sincerely appreciated his work and advice for maintenance as well as potential work that we may require.

Robert Plantic did a great job fixing our very old bathtub faucet. He designed a perfect washer system. If it weren't for him we wouldn't have had running water until the next day. There's no one better. Thanks a lot

We had granite counters installed in our Kitchen and main Bathroom and needed a plumber to hook up the sinks as the original plumbing did not line up with the new sinks. I called Mr. Rooter as I had seen one of their trucks and wrote down the number. When I called the lady who answered the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. Once I told her my story her first question was how long has it been since the install? Right on you have to wait a couple of days before doing any work. She gave me an appointment for the next day and explained the technician would give me a quote on the spot and if I was ok with that he would commence with the work. She asked if I preferred morning or afternoon and would call the day of to advise when the Tech would be there.... which she did. Now as for the Tech (George Shakh) he was excellent, first he explained what was required and when I didn't have all the appropriate material he went shopping for it. He spent about 4 or 5 hours completing the work and ensuring I saw him doing all the test to see that it all worked properly. Well done Mr. Rooter team and when I remodel the laundry room I will be giving you a call.

I had a backup issue in my basement a few months ago so I called Mr. Rooter to help me out. I have to say that the service I received was outstanding. They arrived at my home on the weekend in about 1 hour after my call. Phil did a great job explaining what was going to be done that day and scheduled an appointment to finish the job next week. He even recommended a restoration company to clean up the mess. My insurance company recommended that I get a back water valve installed and I called Phil to get the job done. He personally came over with Eugene to ensure I would be satisfied with the install. The job itself was really quick and professionally done. We ran into to some issues with the installation but I was impressed that things were explained to me and resolutions were discussed and performed. Eugene did a great job and was really efficient as well.

Rick is the technician that showed up to do the work needed. Rick arrived on time and was very open to listening to my concerns. Rick was very knowledgeable and honest with his opinions, but allowed me to make all the decisions based on his thoughts. Rick was very quick and thorough with his work and cleaned up after himself completely. If I had to recommend a plumbing company I would definitely recommend Mr Rooter. They may be a little more expensive than other contractors, but I think you get what you pay for. I was so satisfied with their work, I used Rick again for another plumbing problem I was experiencing. If you can get Rick to do your work, I'm sure you will be happy with the results.

My kitchen sink faucet was leaking so I called Mr Rooter for assistance. Gary came and was great. Excellent work by very knowledgeable and courteous staff. Took excellent care with every aspect of installing our new faucet. Thank you!

My attached neighbors experienced a sewage backup into their basement. They hired Mr. Rooter Plumbing to resolve the problem. I took the opportunity to hire them to replace my old lead water service and to replace the clay sewage pipe running from my house to the city pipe and to install a back water valve. The team was led by Robert who was always courteous and informative, and perhaps I should add persuasive in a good way (which of course is his job). Eugene was the main guy doing the actual work. His team did an excellent job. They worked late to finish the job so I had water and operating toilets by the evening. They cleaned up the work site at the end of the day. Eugene was a pleasure to deal with. I would certainly have no reservations in recommending Robert, Eugene and the rest of the team.

Robert and his team were professional, prompt and honest. We appreciated that they took the time to do it right and to explain the work. I also greatly appreciated their hard work and Igor's good humour. I would recommend them for this big job any time.

Brian M of Mr. Rooter Plumbing was terrific. He was able to come by our house and assess the situation just hours after our initial call. He recommended a course of action to deal with our immediate crisis, and made many cost-saving suggestions. He was able to return the next morning to replace our leaking fixtures. The quality of work was top-notch. I would recommend Brian M and Mr Rooter Plumbing to anyone.
