    toilet and sink repairs

    Overpriced service. I paid $870 for about an hour's work by the contractor. The repairs were simple and cost of parts minimal: all he did was snake the sink in one of our bathrooms to clear it, replaced the seal on one toilet and the pump on another. He also stabilized the second toilet. The work was done well and the contractor was competent and professional, but this should not have costed more than 300.

First we never would have gone ahead with the work if you had not agreed to the work. Our technician John arrived at 11:45am and was at your place until 1:25pm. The work we charged for was to remove and replace two toilets, and a major toilet rebuild of fill valve, flapper and supply line. You also got an Advantage Plan which provided you with a discount on the work. At no charge we snaked the drain and replace the mechanical pop up in the upstairs bathroom and installed the pop up that you had provided us downstairs at no charge. The Advantage Plan provides you with a discount on work, no trip charge on future calls, and a free yearly home inspection. We apologize if you feel robbed however we feel that the work we provided was correctly price for what was done. You were not coerced into approving the work and were under no obligation to do so.     Leaky faucet

    I had a leaky faucet valve in a crawlspace. Ron came and made a great first impression. He brought with him a company carpet to lay down his shoes and handed me his business card before coming into the house. He was very pleasant and did his work with a smile. It was what I expected from a professional person in the trades. Ron went above and beyond basic repair. He made it look nice. The reason I didn't give a 5 in satisfaction was because the soldering smoke activated the whole house fire alarm twice. While I was trying to air out two floors of the house, I forgot about the food I had in the oven!

    Repalcing shower faucet cartridge

    Very positive experience with service from Brian MacDonald plumbing technician for Mr. Rooter. There was a challenge with fitting the cartridge in and Brian was able to get extra assistance from his area supervisor to find the right replacement cartridge and complete the job. Would call again and ask for Brian next time we need assistance.

    fixed a cracked sewage pipe, and put in backflow valve and also changed kitchen faucet and bath shower heads

    We bought a new home which is 100 years old, the inspector noticed that we needed a P trap in the laundry room and we also noticed a cracked sewage pipe. Mike is very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. He addressed our immediate issue and suggested things that could prevent flooding in the near future. During that work our issues were discovered and Mike kept us informed and reassured that they will find a solution. The entire work crew that dug up the basement and outdoors were exceptional and kept the house tidy.

    Plugged toilet

    We had a plugged toilet and ended up installing a new one due to their recommendation on the problem. Both Grant and Justin were extremely pleasant and professional and answered all my questions. This is the second time we have used Mr. Rooter and we are very pleased with each visit.

    Plumbing

    We contacted Mr. Rooter of Greater Toronto to have faucets fixed in two bathrooms. Carey Carpenter and his assistant Morgan quite promptly. They expertly completed the work, and gave some sound advice on other prospective plumbing projects in the house, and furnished an appropriate estimate on further work. They were extremely courteous and helpful, and answered all of our inquiries with great professionalism. Definitely will be using them again in the near future, and we also think the lifetime membership program is a great deal!

    Plumbing

    Response time was excellent! I called at 7 pm the day before and the technician (Gary) showed up at 9 am the next day. Everything was fixed and he also did an annual plumbing check up that comes with the membership. Perhaps not the cheapest but certainly the best I dealt with!

    Backed up sink

    I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing at 1 pm as we had a backup into our kitchen sink. Amazingly Brian M. showed up at our door by 2 pm. It was a hard job to clear our clogged kitchen drain as it was related to a build-up in the building's kitchen stack. Brian M. was very diligent and I would recommend him to anyone.

    A Trap Configuration Genius!

    Because of his expert and innovative handling of a new condo build plumbing nightmare occurring under our sink, Stephen H. provided us with an impressive quality fix that not only meant we got to keep the large kitchen sink but as well, afforded us some much needed extra under counter storage space too!     Bathtub drain leaking through ceiling

    We had a leaking bathtub drainpipe on the second floor. It had leaked through the ceiling on the main floor. Peter W. was our plumber. He was very pleasant and courteous. He told us up front what the work and costs would be. He was able to make the repairs through the ceiling. We are very pleased with his workmanship and would recommend him.
