    Blocked Drains

    Thank you to George Shakh for his wonderful work today. He was there within 2 hours of the call. He was very professional and solved the difficult problem in a timely manner. Left the house very clean and tidy after the work and also gave us wonderful advice on how to prevent frozen pipes again. Thanks

    Frozen broken pipe

    We came home to find our basement floor absolutely saturated with water. After calling several plumbers, we found Mr.Rooter. The dispatcher was awesome, and our plumber was amazing! He arrived at 1130 pm and didn't leave until almost 2am. Fardhin was so polite, professional and all around terrific. We really appreciated his skills and expertise! Ten stars for sure.

    Toilet repair

    I had a problem with my kitchen faucet and Mr Rooter sent over Waqas Ahmad to help me out. He was very informative and talked me through the problem. I signed up for their Advantage Plan and Waqas checked out any potential problem areas in my condo. We found a problem with my toilet and he fixed it very immediately. i would use this service again

    Powder Room Toilet Replacement

    Waqas Ahmad trouble shooted the problem I had with my powder room bathroom - replace the toilet. They were great and am so happy with the results! Great job! Thanks!

    Clearing blocked plumbing

    Monday evening my second floor toilet & bathtub were block. After having tried unsuccessfully to clear it myself, I called Mr. Rooter. The receptionist politely took my info, and that it would require some immediate assistance since it involved our only functioning bathroom. She called me back when the earliest plumber was available, which was Ron (Jackson). He was very professional but also friendly and courteous. He cleared the blockage by running a line and cleaned up afterwards. Though the response and service were good since it was an emergency, I’m still shocked at the charge of $523.52 (tax included). Unfortunately, the problem hadn’t been totally resolved. I found my basement flooded with water and debris that had backed up from my unused toilet there. Called Mr. Rooter, and they quickly send Ron back. He cleaned up the water to pass a line through beyond the Y connection. The line cut through the obstruction which when returned had fragments of tree roots and clay. Ron suggested passing a camera through to find where the problem is, and proceeding from there. Which I will probably have to do, after I finish clearing out the basement.

    Leak in wall and pipe thaw

    Great customer service on phone, very prompt and dependable. Plumber was fantastic, experience could not have been better. The job was done professionally and what was a bad situation soon turned around, thank you Ron Johnson your plumbing skills and friendly personality. I had a leak in my bathroom wall and my pipes were frozen, he crawled into my crawlspace and had no problems with what he found. I would call this company again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

    Plumbing

    I noticed a dirt like substance coming up into the basement bath tub. Mr Rooter send the technician Brian P out to diagnose the problem. It turned out to be a simple problem that was easily solved. Great and friendly service! Thank you!

    Changing mix valve on water heater

    I had a problem with the hot water supply. At first I thought it was the water tank, but the technician from the water heater company said the tank was fine and the problem was most probably in the mix valve, where the hot and cold water mix. I called Mr. Rooter the next day - the receptionist was very thorough in making sure she understood my problem, and even let me speak to a technician. They offered to send someone that same evening. Since it wasn't an emergency, I asked them to send the technician the next day. Waqas (last name Ahmad) was on time, very courteous and friendly. He came to the same conclusion, showed me what the price of the work was going to be, and spent two hours working on replacing the valve and cleaning up everything afterwards. He didn't even mind having my husband hang out and ask questions! (He likes to learn about home repairs.) I am very satisfied with the service I received. It was not my first time calling Mr. Rooter, and I will use their services again.

    Leak from upstairs shower to room below

    Waqas Ahmad was very polite. Located the problem quickly but thoroughly. Price was as agreed and there was no unnecessary work done. I would recommend this company to anyone having similar problems.

    Remove bathtub taps and cap the pipes

    Paid over $300 for work that took 20-30 minutes to complete. Apparently they no longer charge by the hour and instead charge by the job which they try to determine from a book they carry. The job was to remove bathtub taps and cap off the water lines to the tub. The wall had already been opened to allow full access. Was charged for "repair 1/2" copper lines" at $315.65 The person who did the work was very good. But the price is crazy. On top of it all is a $15 "fuel surcharge". When gas prices are at an all time time low, that was just icing on the cake. We've used plumbing companies in the past that were much more reasonably priced. Will call them in the future. Added note: The actual physical work that I called the company to have done took only 20-30 min. The plumber also took time to look at the work to be done, review his binder to get a quote, perhaps he had travel time to get here. Still should have been charged for more than an hour. However, he was here longer because he wanted/offered to do some extra work for free because he felt bad about the cost for such small work. I didn't need the other work done, could have done it myself later. Will never call this company again. Cost should be based on the actual work performed/requested by customer.

We provide the price upfront to make sure our customers are aware of the cost and are not surprised at the end of any job. The time frame you mentioned was of concern and after reviewing our GPS Tracking System, our records indicated that our technician was there just over two hours and the invoice also lists work that he did to your kitchen faucet that was included at no extra charge.It is our goal to provide all of our customers with the highest level of service and we hope that you may decide to use us in the future if needed.
