    Refrigerator repair

    When I contacted Joe, he called back within the hour and was at our house not long after that. He fixed the problem with our refrigerator quickly. I would not hesitate to call him again and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others in the future. If you want someone who is knowledgeable and courteous and "knows his stuff," Joe is your guy!

    Refrigerator Repair

    Called The Appliance Guy when my 14-year old Frigidaire Gallery side-by-side stopped freezing. The refrigerator side was still cold, but the freezer side was unable to freeze. Joe was great! He quickly told me what the likely problem was. Rather than recommend a bunch of costly repairs, he was honest enough to tell me what it would cost, how likely it would be to solve the problem, and how long my fridge would probably last after the repair. He could have easily signed me up for repairs, but he is a very competent professional and a very honest man. Not only did he help me with the old fridge, but he answered my many questions about new fridges and their service issues. He even called me back when I had additional questions. He doesn't sell appliances and doesn't shill for a retailer. He is just a very decent guy. Dealing with Joe is like having a best bud who is an appliance repair guy. I will definitely call him again when I have a problem with an appliance.

    Fixed heat setting knob on dryer

    Knob of dryer broke off and instead of ordering entire new back console panel, Joe was able to fix the knob without doing this and saved me quite a bit of money plus the cost of a second service call.

    Oven door repair

    The interior glass of my oven door shattered the night before. I called another company in the morning left a message and got no response. After 3hrs I decided to call Joe. He answered the phone right away, after describing my issue he guessed correctly what oven I had. He had the part in stock and was able to come within the hour. I was amazed at his level of customer service. He even gave tips on caring for my other kitchen appliances. I highly recommend 'the appliance guy' to anyone who needs appliance service.

    Wiring problem with dishwasher.

    Great service from a guy that knows his stuff. He fixed my dishwasher & installed my built in microwave front plate even though parts were missing. Thanx again, I would not hesitate to use him again.

    Doubly satisfied

    Joe has done it again! That's twice he has rescued our dishwasher in the past 5 years. He's an old pro (He used to drive an Eaton's service truck!) who knows all the tricks. (Ask him about his swizzle stick trick). I was certain our old machine was done for but called Joe just to make sure. In less than an hour he had it running again. You can trust Joe to either fix it or give you the straight facts. Highly recommended.

    Fridge door

    Joe was very pleasant and professional. On time and thorough. Got the job done and was in and out within 45min. I have him on my list for future needs.

    Kitchenaid Fridge stopped being cold ... but not anymore thanks to Joseph

    I called Joseph on Sunday and first thing Monday morning he called back to schedule time to look at the problem. Over the phone Joseph was asking questions and pondering what the problem could be. Joseph arrived at my house exactly on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really got to experience his wealth of knowledge and experience when he was diagnosing the issue and was coming up with possible solutions. I actually learned quite a bit watching him work and listening to him explain things to me. It wasn't an easy job but Joseph got it done and the fridge is working again. I have no hesitation recommending Joseph. He knows his stuff. Thanks for your help Joseph!

    Oven Repair

    Excellent oven repair job. A professional, quality repair in all aspects - communication, prompt arrival, skill and expertise. Joe arrived just when he said he would, knew exactly what the problem was, what needed to be done and completed the job like the repair expert he is ..... so happy to have found such a gem - I highly recommend The Appliance Guy.....Thanks Joe.

    Excellent service - fast, efficient and most accommodating

    Our fridge/freezer stopped working two days before we were leaving town for two weeks. Joseph responded immediately to my urgent call for help. He arrived within hours of my call and was able to re-start the fridge. Due to our travel plans, we did not want to leave anything in the fridge in case it stopped working mid-trip so left some condiments, etc. in the BBQ. Upon returning, we found the fridge is working perfectly, never stopped again and hopefully has a few more years of life to it. Joseph was a real pleasure to meet and to help us so quickly.
