Prompt (came the next day), and friendly service with great advice. Went out of his way to investigate, explain and make sure everything was in working order before finishing the job. Joe really cares about his customers. Will definitely call on him again!

I called, and the next day Joe came out! He is such a pleasant and smart man. This was my third call to him, and I was super satisfied. He came within the time frame promised, which is never an issue with him. He knew what the problem was before he stepped into my house just by what I told him over the phone. There is no time wasting with Joe. He is MY Appliance Guy :D

My washer flashed an error signal. Joseph arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, had the needed part in his truck, ran an error check and waited to make sure the machine was going through the cycles properly. He is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Great job!

My dryer stopped and given it is over 30 yrs. old I did not know if it was worth fixing - I called in the morning and Joe came by mid afternoon same day and had my dryer running again before I knew it. FAST, friendly service and I will recommend to all my friends and family.

The refrigerator side of my 24 yr old Maytag side-by-side (RSD24A) had stopped cooling & there was frost buildup on the back wall of the freezer section. Joe (The Appliance Guy) quickly responded to my phonecall, turned up on time, easily identified & repaired the problem (a timer) for a reasonable fee. Very professional & friendly. I'd seen his 5 star rating on Homestars & am very glad I had him service my refrigerator instead of the booking offered by the 1-800 help line for Whirlpool (who now own Maytag) because: their call centre is located in the USA (not here in Canada); offers an 8 hour 'appointment window' requiring me to stay home a whole day; referred me to a Toronto repair service which has only a 1 star rating on Homestars; and suggested that since parts would be very hard to find for such an 'old' fridge, I might need to buy a new one (which -- coincidentally? -- the appliance repair service also sells... )

The Appliance guy is professional, knowledgeable, very helpful and did not try to add additional unnecessary work/costs. He was very punctual. My freezer was not working, and he gave me a couple of options - not pushing for the more pricey one He fixed issue and to date it continues to work like a charm. This guy knows his stuff!! The Appliance guy is extremely professional, knowledgeable, very helpful and does it with a smile. He was very punctual. The money charged was the fee plus his assessment work. Our electric range circuit board went up in sparks and was non functional. When he arrived he opened it up and advised that the cost of fixing is going to be close to $700-800. Gave me the options of having it repaired or buying a new one. We bought a new one. Our refrigerator ice maker was also not functioning at the same time, he looked at it and solved the problem within a few minutes. (he didn't charge for this). This guy knows his stuff!! Thank you!

The work refrigerator stopped working. We looked on Homestarts for a well reviews appliance repair company, called the Appliance Guy today a repairman came by fairly on short notice.. Thought it maybe we'd need a whole new fridge but Appliance Guy was able to fix and saved us a bunch of money!

This is the second time I have called Joe and he is fast, efficient, informative and provides preventative maintenance tips to avoid future issues. You can't ask for more than that. Highly recommend The Appliance Guy to everyone. Thanks Joe!

So our refrigerator stopped blowing cold about two days ago but the freezer unit was fine. This morning at 3am, we heard a grumbling that forced us to unplug. My wife called the Appliance Guy today and Joe swung by to take a look. We thought it was a compressor but thankfully it was only a timer. Fridge is fixed and now blows cold. Thanks Joe! Love the same day, same trip service.
