I would just like to thank Joe for coming out so quickly to repair my refrigerator. I am a daycare owner and my refrigerator broke down. As you could imagine I was panicking. I called Joe for the first time, I explained my situation to him and he went out of his way to help me. He was at my place within an hour. That’s Service! He took a look at my refrigerator explained to me what it could be. He then proceeded with his diagnosis and repair. I was explained each step of his diagnosis and was very comfortable in it abilities. I have and will recommend him to anyone that needs appliance repair. Thanks again Joe. You’re the Best! Joseph P. The Appliance Guy (Joe) was the best service/repairmen i have ever dealt with. He is very professional, clean-cut, friendly, and knowlegeable. He was on time and fixed my fridege on the spot with parts he had in stock in his vehicle. My impression is that he values his reputation above all else. Dont hesistate to call him.Answer from pro:

This morning I noticed my cream cheese was not cold when I was eating breakfast. Sure enough, I checked the fridge and it was room temperature. Joe came out to our place despite the fact that it was a far distance (Toronto's East End), and came within a couple hours of my calling him. He fixed the temperature issue as well as fixed a bunch of other issues we had been dealing with for the last year or so (ice had been building up in the freezer, leaking periodically, etc.). He was efficient, professional, friendly, and explained everything so I could understand exactly why he was doing each repair. He explained why it was better to fix the fridge than just buy a new one. He even popped by our neighbour's place and fixed their fridge while he was at it too! I'd recommend Joe anytime :)Answer from pro:

Joe came to my place within 15 minutes I made a call for washer repair. He was so quick in troubleshooting and professionally fixed the problem on the spot as he had a part for the washer in his truck. The price was not super cheap but reasonable. I've used Joe to fix my stove in 2007,2009,, my dryer, the next year, and today my fridge. It had been leaking for the past 10 days but I thought it would clear up on its own. Joe is the most knowledgeable guy you can get to fix any of your appliances.He has deep understanding of how they work & how to fix them. His honesty is utmost.If an appliance is beyond repair,he will tell you so. Within 45 minutes,my fridge had stopped leaking as I breathed a sigh of relief! It sure is less expensive than buying a new fridge.I am so lucky to find Joe the Appliance Guy.Do yourself a favour.if any of your appliances do not work,CALL JOE! Our Whirlpool Duet washing machine started making very loud noises. Joe came, offered that our bearings were dead (as he had warned over the phone) and was frank about it. However, he recommended that we continue to use the washer until it stops working. Unfortunately, the washer started eating our clothes, leaving stains and tearing off bits of plastic and metal. Needless to say we were peeved - our bed sheets ruined. Joe was apologetic, said he'd never heard of this in all his years, and refunded our money. The original advice was off the mark, but the response about all we could ask for.Answer from pro:
The customer called me with a noisy front load washer. I went over the details with the customer over the phone and told him that the machine could be noisy for various reasons. The customer invited me to go and have a look. I went over and explained that it was the bearing that was making noise and that everything else was ok. At the time, the washer was still spinning but only making noise. So, I told the customer that he needed to buy a new machine, that it was not worth repairing. However, I did say he could use the machine, 'under supervision'. This was my recommendation because I've had customers with noisy machines, who kept using their machines with no real problems. It is unfortunate, that in this case the machine only lasted for a few more loads and then the bearing completely gave way, which is not usual. Had someone been supervising the operation of the washer, they would have heard that something was going very wrong. The machine could have been stopped on time. In good faith, I did go back and refund the customer even though I do not feel it was necessary. After all of this, the customer contacted me several times for me to recommend where he could get a good deal on a new machine. I continued to assist him at no charge. I'm sorry that you had to go through this experience, Ben. On my part, I did my best to help you and was not compensated for it. Regards, Joe.

Fast, friendly service. Very happy. Made every effort to fit me into their schedule. Fixed my gas oven and electric fireplace. Had the knowledge and tools on hand to get the jobs done. Definitely recommend.
