The Appliance Guy was clearly very experienced at fridge repair, and just when I thought we needed to buy a new fridge, it's nice to know there are other options. He was a little quirky with his scheduling requirements, but it all worked out in the end and I'm just happy with the quality and care he provided. Thanks, Joe!

This is the second time Joe came to help out (first time was to fix my washer) Joe really knows his stuff, deduced the problem in a few minutes and had my Samsung compact dryer running in 40 minutes or so and provided tips on how to prevent future problems. He's quick, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Just wanted to say how happy I was with The Appliance Guy. Joe made a out-the-way trip to my house within a few hours of my call, and arrived already with a good idea of what the problem with my fridge was, just based on my somewhat vague description. He had the part on hand and fixed the problem immediately. I was very impressed with his efficiency, pro activeness, and professionalism, and would absolutely call on him again.

Yesterday a new dishwasher was installed and that night I noticed my freezer was not cold enough although there was some cool air flowing. So I was very disheartened to say the least, that I might have to replace another appliance. Anyways in the morning the pool of melted ice confirmed that my refrigerator was in need of service. Having not such good results with the dishwasher (had it serviced but a month later it was having the same problem so ended buying a new one) I decided to search for the 'best appliance service in Richmond Hill' and the homestars website was presented and Joe's company was at the top of the list. I called Joe in the morning (maybe it was 9AM - he called back few minutes later - said he would be able to be there around 10:30 - that was my first nice surprise - that he gave me a time (not a window) and so soon. He arrived when he said he would and fixed my refrigerator (and explained what he was doing and what could happen). And he also replaced the lightbulbs on my oven at the same time since he can service all types of appliances. Joe knew about my microwave door (hinge broken) as it was a common problem and so he knows what parts to get and how to fix (so I will be using Joe again very shortly). I recommend him highly.

My fridge stopped cooling and I called Joe on a Friday morning to see what his availability was to come and look at it. After playing phone tag for much of the day, we spoke in the late afternoon. Even though he was heading away from my location, he said he could be there in about 20 minutes. So he turned around and met me at my house to diagnose the problem. He got to work quickly and explained to me what the possible causes of the issue might be. He was able to quickly determine that the fan motor was broken and needed to be replaced. He had a replacement in his van that he installed promptly and the fridge is working perfectly. He put everything back together and cleaned up quickly. From the time we spoke on the phone to the time he had our fridge back up and running was a little over an hour, an exceptional turnaround time, especially on a Friday afternoon. Joe was prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I would definitely recommend the Appliance Guy.
