Washer pump started going in the middle of a load. One quick call and on a busy friday he was here in an hour and a half. Fast, friendly and fixed!

Our Maytag fridge (freezer on bottom) has been leaking for months. Joe was very responsive and quick to come by. He started by fixing the freezer door and melting all the ice and then also found an issue with the fridge door. While he was here he also took a quick look at our dryer. Joe, thanks again for fixing the problem. We are so happy not to step in puddles as we get things out of the fridge.

I was stuck with a fridge that had stopped cooliing right before the weekend. I found Joe through Homestars and sent him an email. Within an hour, he called me back and made arrangements to come over to fix the fridge. Joe was very knowledgeable, friendly and got the job done in record time. He takes the time to explain what the problem is and shows you what is damaged or broken. He had my fridge working again in about 30 minutes! I highly recommend him.

Wow. Joe is super friendly and very knowledgeable. My fridge broke down on Victoria Day of the long weekend! No-one was open. On Home Stars, Joe the Appliance guy was ranked #1 in Customer Service. I left him a message. He returned my call first thing Tuesday Morning. Unfortunately, he was back logged due to the holiday. Another problem was that I was outside his service area. I told Joe, I don't want anyone else but him. He realized I was serious. He bascially re-arranged his entire schedule just to accomodate me. He come to my house on Wednesday and in great detail, walked me through his diagnostics. He fixed my fridge in no time. I then had a problem with my stove. He fixed that in no time as well. He even gave me maintanance tips for my fridge so I can keep it in top working order. Overall, a fantastic guy!! I would not hesitate to use him again! Very honest and down to earth. Hard to find people like him!

Everyone told me I needed a new fridge... I called The Appliance Guy. He called me back promptly. He was professional and honest. He came to my door within 2 hours since he wasn't far. He came prepared with a toolbox and new parts in hand. It turned out I didn't explain the problem properly over the phone (my fault), but, no problem. He walked out to his car, took a look and he had the obscure part I needed, brand new. While he worked, he explained what he was doing and how my fridge works. He taught me how to maintain it in an effort to make it last longer. I recommend The Appliance Guy very much. Right from the beginning, I could tell this guy has a lot of experience. With this type of work, he could save you loads of money, like he did for me. I can't help but think I'm lucky I didn't get a guy who ran up a bill running back and forth from his supplier to my house. This guy comes prepared.

Both my gas oven and my gas dryer started acting up on the same day. Joe found minor problems with each one, and after he made the repairs, both seemed to be functioning fine. But because I was worried about the possibility of having poorly functioning gas appliances, he continued to inspect them. He checked the dryer vent outside and cleaned everything he could get at. He explained everything he was doing, and even took apart and reassembled my oven door a so I could clean a spill that had gotten behind the glass and had been bugging me for years. His thoroughness and attention to detail was really reassuring, and his price was really fair. I will definitely call the Appliance Guy again!

Brilliant. Others had told me my stove was not repairable. He replied promptly, showed up and fixed it in no time. Saved me the cost of a new stove! Pleasant, efficient and a pleasure to do business with.
