I am so pleased to have found The Appliance Guy and also HomeStars. The Appliance Guy was able to come within a couple of hours and diagnosed and repaired my fridge's problem very quickly (no spoilage!). His price was more than reasonable. I am thrilled with Joe's friendly and helpful service and will definitely use him again and recommend him without reservation. 10 out of 10. Thanks Joe.

I booked The Appliance Guy for a dryer repair based on his reviews on this site. I've used him now for two different jobs (clothes dryers in 2 rental units) and I am throroughly impressed. I don't say this lightly, but Joe is a master at his craft. He knows his machines. We've been having problems with a dryer that I had bought used/re-conditioned. Joe came and I was quite satisfied that he got it working again, but Joe himself still suspected that something more had to be done. On his own time (after I had already paid) he researched the problem further. From his research and from memory, Joe diagnosed what must have been wrong. (He remembered that there was a part that didn't belong, likely from when the dryer was being reconditioned). Joe asked if he could come back to tweak his repair. This is what I mean by a master at his craft.

Joe repaired an older dryer skillfully - he came prepared to fix what he thought was the problem and had the know how and parts on hand to fix two other related problems. He was punctual and friendly - couldn't ask for more!

Called them up to fix the fridge which started acting up about 3 months after the warranty expired! I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a relatively cheap fix. The gentleman arrived on time and was very polite. He was able to fix the fridge and we have had no issues with it since. Thank you. Angelo

I have an old dryer (1970s) that stopped working because the switch that is triggered when the door closes was broken. I found Joe on Homestars as a top rated service provider and gave him a call. Within a couple of hours I had a working dryer. Joe was extremely knowledgable and professional. I will definitely keep him in mind for any future work.

I originally used Joe some time ago for a dryer that was leaving oil stains. He was honest about not being sure if he could fix it, charged a very reasonable amount, and was very knowledgeable and patient. Although he was great, I would have given him an 8 at the time, only because he didn’t actually fix the issue in the end. I am giving him a 9 now because I have called him twice since that time with different problems, described my problem in detail and asked him the question of “should I get you to fix it or should I just replace it”. Both times, he suggested replacing it, even though he could have charged me for work. It’s nice to see an honest contractor and will definitely call him again.

Dishwasher wasn't washing very well. Came with the house, so age unknown. Joe came with the part sight unseen, and fixed the machine. Nice, honest, and cares about what he does. Will definitely keep his info on file!

Great service! Fast, professional, and polite. Highly recommended. You could wish for appliance problems, Joe is so good, but we don't want those. At least now I know if I have a problem, I can count on Joe.

Our fridge stopped working over the New Years weekend, so we called the Appliance Guy on Monday morning. Within 2 1/2 hours of our call, he was at our door and had our fridge up and running in 45 minutes. He was very professional, informative and friendly. I would recommended him to anyone and will definitely use him again.
