    Washing Machine Repair

    As a female homeowner, I always find it very stressful and often difficult to find honest, reasonable and exceptionally good repair people. Joe is this guy, and more. First of all, I knew he was honest and kind from our first conversation. He genuinely wants to help, and is also incredibly knowledgeable - I think Joe could fix just about anything! He knew right away what the problem was and was kind enough to alter his plans in order to get my washer repaired quickly. He knew exactly what he was doing and did an amazing job for a very fair price (the part that needed replacing was the bulk of the cost). Not only that, he is really smart - it was obvious to me that he doesn't just repair things - he understands the details about how things work and has a genuine passion and mathematical brain that go way beyond any other "appliance guy" I have ever encountered. Joe is an intelligent, kind, and very honest man. I will never hire anyone else for any of my appliance repairs and would highly recommend him without any reservations. Thanks so much, Joe.

    Freezer service/repair

    I had called Joe to take a look at our freezer which had been making a loud buzzing sound. Joe came by the next day and was immediately able to see that the freezer needed servicing. He was informative and explained everything that he was doing throughout the process. His pricing is also very fair. He also took the time to check our stove to make sure it was working properly. We will definitely be calling Joe again for our future appliance servicing needs.

    Removal of old washing machine + installation of new (gently used) one

    The service I received was absolutely, absolutely WONDERFUL! When I contacted Joe to remove my old machine and install a new (gently used) one, he wasn't able to help me, but he recommended a colleague of his, Danny, from another company, for the job. Danny quoted me a fee (less than another I'd received earlier) and we set a time for him to come by on the w/e. He arrived early (called ahead to let me know) and discovered that the job was WAY more difficult than he (or I) had imagined. My old workhorse of a washing machine still had water in it (which made it even heavier than it might have been otherwise), was very rusty in spots (hence it couldn't be dismantled) and had oil leaking from the transmission (it was very messy and difficult to work with). I believe many technicians would have said 'Sorry, can't help you', but not Danny. He had to cut apart the machine w' a saw (oil and rust impeded an alternative route) and take it out in pieces - something he did super carefully and patiently. No complaining or irritation - just really messy, hard work done really well. And then he installed and checked the other machine before leaving. He was super responsible and helpful and a lovely, thoughtful person to boot! I cannot recommend him highly enough - and I add, w' trepidation: I hope he never has a job as challenging and dirty as mine ever again! Thank you so much, Danny!     Do Not Hesitate to Call Joe The Appliance Guy

    Found Joe the Appliance Guy on HomeStars yesterday (Sunday) and called for a dryer repair. Joe returned our call within a 1/2 hour and was certain he knew what was wrong and would have Nicholas call us to setup an appointment. Nicholas arranged an appointment and came to see us today. We are so grateful to have received such wonderful friendly service from both Joe and Nicholas. His knowledge and professionalism was greatly appreciated. Nicholas was thorough, knew exactly what needed to be done and completed the repair in no time. We would not hesitate to call or recommend Joe and his team. Thank you Nicholas for all you did today!

    Dryer fix

    I contacted Joe through Homestars and he contact me within a few hours. He asked me several questions over the phone regarding the problem with my Samsung dryer and had a very good idea what the problem was. He showed up the next morning as promised on time and he was correct on his diagnosis over the phone. One of the roller bearing was gone and within an hour replaced with a new roller bearing and cleaned out any built up lint in the dryer. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and honest and will definitely call again if I have an appliance issue.

    Amazing service And professionalism

    This is the second time I have called Joe. To my surprise he was able to come the same day and fix my 18 month old dyer. His knowledge and professionalism know no equal and he happens to be one of the nicest guys and a real pleasure to deal with. If your appliance is out of warranty why give your money to some faceless corporation ? Support a great independent business person. You won't be disappointed.

    Dryer quick fix

    My dryer broke down (stopped drying the clothes). I emailed Joe that evening. He called me back the next morning and said he could come to my house at noon. He diagnosed and fixed the problem (broken heat coil) and had it working all within an hour all while I was not home. He then offered to meet me at my work so I could pay him. What a service!

    Oven/Stove repair

    I'm 100% sure there are a lot of repair technicians out there but let's cut to the chase on The Appliance Guy and Joe that gives you 100% attention to your problem, fixes the appliance to your satisfaction-provides options and solutions, and does not take advantage of you or your wallet. He was spot-on with his diagnosis and repair and I wait always before I post in case of repair issues..-the problem was the oven element and the circuit board..I waited and everything is perfect. He's in my contact list for these repairs. 90-day warrenty gives you price up front, comes on time and follows-up...100% recommendation from me.

    Great, Friendly, Fast Service

    Joe is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to appliance repairs and was able to fix our dryer quickly. He walked us through exactly what was broken and how he repaired it and gave us tips and tricks to increase the efficiency of our dryer. I definitely recommend him for appliance repairs and will be using his services in the future if another home appliance stops working.

    Washer Repair

    We have had Joe out to do a couple of repairs, the last one being our Maytag clothes washer. He was able to come up with a creative and cost-effective solution, and was prompt, friendly and professional. He is genuinely interested in helping and making sure you are satisfied. I would gladly recommend him!
