    Kitchen aid fridge repair

    Glad to have called Joe for service to our 9 year old kitchen aid fridge that was stuck in Sabbath mode after a power outage. He knew exactly how to proceed to replace the board and reprogram to unit. Joe was very friendly and knowledgeable. The cost of repair was close to his original telephone quote and he arrived on time... He saved the day! Thank you Joe!

    Quick, honest, affordable service when nobody else could provide it

    After a decade, our trusty Capital range suddenly stopped working. A cursory Google suggested that it was just a dirty or busted igniter, which I assumed would be a fairly simple fix. I tried calling around to various appliance-repair companies—many never responded to me; the ones that did had never encountered a Capital appliance, and offered little more than a shrug emoji. It was my good luck to happen upon a recommendation for Joe on a neighbourhood Facebook page. He called me not long after receiving my email, reassured me that he could tackle our issue, and connected us with his associate, Colin. Colin quickly connected with Capital, confirmed that he could use an igniter he had on hand (which saved us at least $100), and came by on a Saturday to fix it in a jiffy. He was calm, clearly an expert, and followed impeccable COVID-hygiene protocols. We were so appreciative of the efficiency, affordability, and quality of the service—other companies would've charged us a supplemental diagnostic fee at the very least. We'll definitely rely on Joe and Colin in the future for any repair needs.

    Fridge Repair Diagnosis

    Joe was very thorough in his investigation and very clear in his communication. His advice was honest and clear. Rather than recommending a repair which may or may not solved the problem he advised us that it might be time to replace the fridge. Thanks for coming, Joe!

    Very pleased with service on a vintage refrigerator

    I have a 70 year old Kelvinator fridge that several others declined to service. As the fridge was purchased new by my father, it has sentimental value and I wanted to get it repaired. I contacted Joe and he immediately responded. He passed along my request to an associate, Colin and kept following up with me in parallel. Colin was excellent - he highlighted some of the potential issues with vintage fridges before coming out which was very helpful. He arrived exactly when expected and was very friendly and totally professional throughout. The fridge is now running ice-cold again. I am very happy with the service as well as the professionalism and communication. Highly recommended.

    Refrigerator freezer repair

    My fridge freezer was developing snow and ice build up and was not cooling properly. I called Joe. He asked me several questions over the phone to try and diagnose the problem. Joe came to repair the freezer and it was exactly what he had diagnosed over the phone. Joe is fast, efficient and his prices are great. I couldn't ask for better quality service. Joe has serviced our appliances in the past and we have always been very happy with his work. He is a true professional. I would highly recommend him.

    Dishwasher and dryer repair

    I contacted Joe last Thursday night re my dishwasher leaking. He responded immediately online and called me the next morning. He was extremely helpful in that he walked me through turning the water valve leading to the dishwasher off and was able to diagnose the issue immediately after asking me a few questions. We arranged for him to come out on the Monday morning. He was very conscientious, very thorough, took his time and fixed the leak. I was so impressed that I asked him to take a look at my dryer which had been making a knocking noise for the past while. He knew exactly what was wrong with it. We arranged for him to come back 2 days later. Again he was very thorough, took the entire machine apart, vacuumed the interior and replaced the roller that was causing the noise. I highly recommend Joe. He proved to be very knowledgeable, very personable and extremely conscientious. An excellent technician!

    Clothes washer repair

    Clothes washer broke down, called Joe,joe was on vacation at the time,but had sent one of his colleague to come and take of us.experiance was excellent,.have been using Joe for many years, still the best.Thanks Joe and thanks Allen great job.

    Fast, Efficient and Very Knowledgable

    The inside glass of our oven broke. I called Joe just after 10am on a Thursday, told him the problem, gave him the model numbers. Within just two hours, Joe was at our home (properly wearing a mask and gloves which we appreciated due to COVID-19) with the new glass in hand. He quickly set to work and had our stove good as new within about 30 minutes. He also replaced our burned-out interior oven light bulb at no additional cost. We have used Joe on occasion over the years to repair our refrigerator and an unrelated issue with our stove (malfunctioning heating element), so we knew the type of service we could expect from him and he did not disappoint. While we hope our appliances behave and that we won't require Joe's services in the future, we won't hesitate to call on him if required.

    One of the Good Ones!

    Bought a used fridge as a 2nd fridge. It's original value was over $2,500. I got it used - for a really good price. I understood that it may experience temperamental, intermittent temperature fluctuations when I bought it. After only a short period of use - it stopped cooling. I reached out to my social network and was referred to Joe from Joe - The Appliance Guy - in business for over 40 years! Joe arrived when he said he would, did his inspection - and it appeared at first that it might be wiser to just trash the fridge rather than repair it. With a very persistent attitude to help the customer get the best value - Joe continued his detailed inspection and analysis and was able to eventually make a repair that ended up costing very little - that brought the fridge back to life! I am so happy that I was referred to Joe. He saved us lots of money and frustration! He even called the next day to see how the fridge is doing! You don't find guys like this very much anymore. THANKS JOE!! We will recommend you highly for appliance repair! You know what you are doing - that's for sure!

    Amana Fridge repair

    The relay on our fridge burnt out, and we were concerned about having a repairman in our house during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company took the necessary precautions to protect their employees and our family. Danny was our service repairman and was on-time, courteous, professional and efficient. Post service, Danny followed up with us to make sure the fridge was working. I was very impressed with the level of service from the company.
