I contacted Spring Home Heating and Cooling on a recommendation from my roofing contractor. I needed to remove and service my roof mounted, non-functioning AC unit while re-roofing my home and return it once completed. Cy and the Spring Home team were great to work with on this very small but time critical job. Fantastic communication, easy to schedule and a detailed professional technician arriving on time at your door. Can’t ask for much better than that, I will be calling Cy first for my future Heating and Cooling needs.

We had Spring Home replace our gas furnace and central AC. Our existing central AC had died, and originally we thought we might replace it with a ductless system for more direct cooling where we needed it. But, for what we wanted, it would be an expensive proposition. Cy from Spring Home explained the benefits if we went with a new high efficiency, central system. We decided to replace the furnace at the same time to get full benefit and also take advantage of the various rebates available (the price noted in this review does not include the rebates we are getting). The Spring Home technicians did a great job. They clearly know what they're doing. They worked efficiently and the installation looks very neat and clean. They also laid down a cloth from the front door to the basement, which was a nice touch. We're very happy with the performance of the new system (Cy followed-up to ensure that). Spring Home has done great job of replacing my pre-historic oil furnace with new gas high efficiency furnace, plus replacing an old AC with new unit, both Tempstar. They removed the old heavy furnace from my basement, and disposed of the old AC as well. Since it's mid summer, the new AC made a huge difference, now I can cool my house in under 45 minutes down to 23C from 27C (old AC would run all day and temp would budge by 1 degree at most). I also got Desert Spring flow though humidifier, with electronically controlled valve, way better and cleaner than the old drum unit. I am happy with the results, and appreciate the effort they put in, I realize that the installation was complicated one because my house is 60 years old and has weird and unusual duct setup and furnace positioning, and because the house is semi-detached, it required running the gas line through the bathroom, to the furnace from the meter on the external wall, was complicated too. I'm happy with results, the gas meter is neatly hidden behind the hedge, and the exhaust/intake pipes exit at the back of my house, so the front of the house didn't get spoiled by ugly pipes sticking out of the front wall. I hope it will be cheaper to heat my home in winter after getting rid of the oil furnace (and the 900 Liter oil tank along with it).

I read about SHHC from this site and called Cy to look into getting a furnace. He was the only person I had come by who said that my current furnace was a 91% effecient furnance and that I wouldn't see much improvement if I bought a new one. Not many sales people will say that. So when I came to buying a ductless AC for my loft bedroom, I called Cy. He came by my place and we went over the options of what I needed and where it could be installed. We decided on a smaller AC with a heatpump. He could have sold me on the bigger model but he assured me that the smaller one would do fine. I got it installed and had two nice gentleman here for most of the day installing the AC in just the right spot. When I met with Cy he suggested one spot for the indoor portion. However, I had a built in bookshelf there. When the installation guys came they were able to install it there with very minor changes to the bookshelf, which they did for me. They taught me how to use it and it's been cool up in my room ever sense. Cy was nice enough to contact me the night of the installation to ensure everything went well. I would certainly recommend Cy and his group and when my furnace breaks down (hopefully in many years) I know who I will call! David.

I selected Spring Home for ac installation in my new home based on thier reviews, 5 years labour warranty and excellent customer service. They did wonderful job in assisting me selecting the right product and thier installation was very good. I am completely satisfied with ac brand (Tempstar) and so far no issue.

Excellent Service, Excellent Value, Excellent Attention To Detail ... I purchased my new Furnace, Air Conditioning Unit and Ductless AC/Heat pump from Spring Home in 2010. From start to finish the experience was top notch. I would highly recommend Spring Home, George Li and Cy Goh ... and their terrific service team. I just had them return for a service call on my Ductless AC/Heat Pump. They helped me optimize this units efficiency and my third floor Cabbagetown home is comfy cool! Our central A/C unit was not working and it was heating up. I found about Spring Home & Cy online and read the reviews on HomeStars. When I spoke with Cy, he made arrangements to give us a quote that evening. He is very knowledgeable & carefully explained the different options based on our needs. The workers were polite, prompt,efficient, clean and explained what they did. We are so thankful to Cy and his team because they got the job done well and in record time!

We hired Spring Home to supply and install ductless air conditioning in our home. Their estimate was reasonable and the Mitsubishi product is known to be reliable. Cy was extremely prompt to return calls, showed up on time and provided us with all the information we needed to make a decision. He was very personable and did not pressure us, even when we kept changing our mind about the location of the units. The three-person installation team worked very hard and very efficiently to complete the work in one day. All were polite and tidy. I had met with a number of contractors to get a quote for the installation of a central air and humidifer. However, after meeting with Cy Goh, I decided to go with Spring Home Heating & Cooling. He was quite forthright in terms of what I needed and had a willingness to educate the home owner. He left a good impression and the price quoted was very competitive. However, at first there was a language barrier and challenges in communicating with the technicians who did the installation, but Cy made sure to follow up and ensure all concerns and issues were addressed. The central air & humidifer were installed in May, 2011. It has been about two months and everything is working great. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Spring Home Heating & Cooling and would highly recommend them. Cy, thanks again for everything.
