Cy and his team came recommended by a contact in the HVAC community and it turned out to be a solid referral. Cy did an excellent job of explaining the technology he was selling. There's obviously a sense of pride here. Everything happened on budget, on time and the job site was clean and tidy when they left.

Spring Home helped us convert from oil to gas heating. They installed an excellent high efficiency boiler quickly and efficiently during the cold month of November. Any issue we had, they dealt with exceptionally well. We finished with an exhaust pipe that exhausted in front of our front window as this was one of the very few options. When we told Cy and George that we had an issue with this, they came and we eventually found a way to put the exhaust up the side of the house. They came and fixed this fast. I would definitely recommend Spring Home.

Kind of late to write this review. We need to replace my aging and inefficient AC. Called around and talked to a few contractors listed in the Homestars. We felt that Cy from Spring Home answered most of our concerns. Well the job was difficult to do since the crawl space is below the ground and not much of space. took the installers a long time but they did amazing job. A few weeks ago,Cy came to bring the winter cover to protect out investment. Thanks !!!!!

Last HVAC contractor just couldn't deliver kept delaying and delivered excuses. Finally I searched around as we were nearing completion of our project (2 classrooms for private school) and the HVAC was a mess. Cy came in and promised a completion date with a firm contract. My other contractor didn't believe it and others that I contacted said he would not be able to deliver. They worked extra hours and completed the job in 3 days where others were talking 1 to 2 weeks to complete with a 2 to 3 week lead time. The work was clean tight and completed to the satisfaction of HAVAC engineer and city inspector (they also were amazed that the job got done so quickly and were very happy with the quality of workmanship). George even fixed a couple of issues the engineer missed and is definitely and expert in his field. I am so happy with my decision to have Spring Home complete our project. We bought a house in Thornhill this August. It is a detached two-story 3000 square feet beautiful house except one thing. There was no central heating and cooling system and no ducting. Entire house was on electric baseboard. We couldn't imagine how high the hydro bill would be through the winter. We decided to convert to gas. After a month of homework, we quickly chose "Spring Home Heating and Cooling Systems Inc" for two reasons. One was that the price was very reasonable. Second reason was that they were willing to work with us to find the best way to run the ducting to the second floor. Two weeks after signing contract with them, the work was done completely. We were extremely impressed by the results and very happy that we chose this company. Even the Enbridge inspector commented "It is very good work from the details. How they run the duct and gas pipe. You can tell they were not trying to rush it..." Thanks George and Gary and all the other crew members for good work. We highly recommend your company to anyone.

My old furnace and A/C needed replacement and I was on the hunt for a good contractor to complete the job. After talking to several friends and reading some online forums, I decided to call in Springhom. I was glad I did and was extremely happy with the whole experience. Cy came in for the initial consultation and did a great job. He took the time to desciribe the products and answer any questions I had. He was not pusshy at all. The work crew came in and did very near and clean install. They took away the old equipment and everything was cleaned up when they left. The crew had mentioned I could get an A/C cover by calling the company. The company did not have them in stock but told men they would let me know when they came in. As soon as they came in Cy came by and personally delivered it to me. So even after the sale was made, Cy was very interested to keep the customer happy. The system has now been running smoothly for a few months. I already see a drop in my gas bill :). I would strongly recommend Springhome to anyone looking for a good quality install.

This company is truly honest. I got a couple of quotes for a service call from different companies. I spoke typically to a customer service person not a tech. In this case, I spoke to the actual service person who diagnosed the problem on the phone. He spent about 10 minutes with me --while he was going to another service call. He diagnosed the problem on the phone--calcium build-up blocking the drain pipe. Sure enough that was it. Saved at least $100. These people are not out to grab your money. This is the kind of tradesmen that we need to support.

We have a 1950's raised bungalow that had a 20 year old furnace and dilapidated ducts and returns. I was looking for a company that would replace my current furnace, a/c and ducts. I had already had a HVAC designer provide me with a new plan so I was able to have several companies quote based on this drawing. I received several interesting quotes and suggestions on installation methods .. some good, some disturbing. Cy from Spring Home Heating had seen a question I had posted on a forum and PM'd me. I described the job I wanted done and provided him with the drawings. He and George came by the house to look at the work. They suggested a few changes that would make the layout better, it provided me more head room in the basement and improved efficiency. They also provided me with a competitive quote. It was not the cheapest, nor most expensive. We came to an agreement on price and work was started the next week. The crew of three showed up on a Monday and spent the entire week removing/replacing the ducts, re-running the gas lines and installing the new furnace & a/c. They were exceedingly clean, each night the work area was tidied. Every time they needed to work on the main-level of the house they removed their shoes and they were watchful of our cats. I was impressed. The workmanship was excellent. They air supplies/returns were tight and neatly run. The furnace install was nicely laid out, the gas lines, wiring, venting, a/c tubing was well thought out. They asked me everyday if I was happy with the work. If there was something I wanted changed they were more then willing to accommodate or they explained why it could not be done. They made changes that they were not expecting or had worked into the price. For example, George had seen how the gas line was run for the old furnace . It did not look professional on the outside of the house coming from the meter. He had it rerouted and painted so it looked good from the outside of the house. The installation activity took place in early September. We've been living with the new system for over a month and we are very happy with the results. The equipment has worked flawlessly. In my research I found that installation of the equipment is likely the most important step in having an efficient home HVAC system. Spring Home definitely did a fantastic job. I've recommended them to others already. I feel we were lucky to have found a professional company to perform the work. They exceed all my expectations. They were courteous, professional, took pride in their work and accommodating. George and Cy are both concerned with the reputation of the company and go the extra mile to ensure everything is done to your satisfaction.

I am thankful to have connected with Cy Goh, who was so thorough at explaining every thing on the phone, especially after I have done my own research and invited others to give a quote. I invited Cy the same day and he came under the hail of rain in a couple of hours to discuss further and give me a quote. 48 hours later he was back with the technician, the supervisor of the team. The area where the furnace had to get installed is enclosed and the air flow for the existing furnace was installed incorrectly. George was quickly able to find the solutions of how to manage the new installation. We were so comfortable with both experts and the next day signed the contract and we had the installation done 5 days later. The team on the job were excellent and Yan was here from 9:30am to 11pm. They were able to finish the job in one day, eventhough, it was a complicated installation. Everyone was exceptional, service, communication and installation and also the price point. I would highly recommend the team. We were extremely satisfied.

When we moved into our 85-year-old home several years ago, we were warned that we would soon need a new boiler. We also had no A/C and knew that eventually this could be a problem. With the sweltering heat of this summer and the discovery that our boiler was leaking and about to become a basement flooder, we called Spring Home. Cy responded immediately(unlike another company I contacted that didn't even call back) and came over with George, another specialist from the company, to give us a thorugh assessment of what was needed and to answer all our questions. We received a quote that we felt was reasonable for the quality of product we expected to receive. The installers arrived exactly when Cy told us they would and those men REALLY worked! Our home is old and does not have a forced air system. The logistics that went into installing air conditioning and maintaining the aesthetic look of the house was just amazing. There was very little mess made during the job and the cleanup was thorough. Although the amount of work was major, it was completed within schedule. All the men were very polite and made sure our questions were answered when they came up. We were consulted as to our preferred placement of the A/C heads and told what the options were. Tubing that had to be run outside was hidden with covering that matched the trim of the house and fit in with the overall style. This covering will also protect the tubing from the elements in years to come. Our nice new boiler is energy-efficient and tucked very neatly into a corner of the basement where it is not that noticeable but is easy to access. Our experience with Spring Home was everything we hoped for!
