We had an air conditioner, air cleaner and humidifier installed in our home this summer and are very happy with the products and the service we received from Spring Home. Cy was a pleasure to deal with. His professional manner, friendly disposition and technical knowledge made it easier to choose Spring Home over all the companies that put fliers on our door advertising low priced A/C. He pointed out that our utility room may not have enough vents in it for the furnace combustion air and told me who I could call to verify this. In the end I had the builder put in a couple of extra vents for this purpose. The installation team for Spring Home did an excellent job. The installation was clean and professional and not easy since the basement was finished and the utility room very cramped. I would definitely recommend Spring Home to our family and friends.

My furnace dies on me a week ago at night. I Called a local company and managed to get the furnace up temporary. The estimate for the repair is high and with the worry that other parts of the furnace might be failing in a year or two I decided to get a new one. Reading reviews here at HomeStars and found Spring Home. Spring Home is not totally new to me as I pass by their company on Warden every day when I go to work. I feel strange to see there are so many good reviews about them and all of them are with a score of 10. I called Cy and wanted to gather information about the furnace they carry. Cy was very patient regardless I was calling him late at night. Cy came to my house the next morning and explained everything to me in detail without rushing me to close the deal. The installation was scheduled after Christmas and now I have a new furnace. Now I know why they have so many positive reviews here at HomeStars. Reason is simple – they really deserve it. Cy is professional and knowledgeable. George calls me proactively to address my concerns. The installers are polite with smiley faces all the time. They take the time to do the job right and clean up the work areas afterward. The amazing part is that they have a post-installation questionnaire for me. To my surprise, Cy gave me a follow up call the next day after the installation. This shows Spring Home care about their business and their customers.

I am extremely satisfied with the purchase and installation of my new furnace, air cleaner and air conditioner by Spring Home. The furnace, air cleaner and air conditioner are of high quality and I am very satisfied with the results. The sales manager was very helpful in explaining the products and my options. The installation was of high quality as well, including the installation of my old humidifier, which they were not familiar with, but took the time to understand and then install correctly. The work outside was done very well, including the base for the air conditioner and the clean drilling in the basement wall for the piping to the furnace. I highly recommend this company.

I am a new homeowner and needed to change my AC and furnace. I did my due diligence and spoke to close to 10 firms suggested on Homestars within my area before deciding on Spring Home. Based on my conversations with Cy, George the owner and other home owner referrals I felt most comfortable with them. They were not the cheapest, though very competitive. The initial quote was reasonable and we agreed on a price. Some of the other firms provided quotes considerably higher which turned me off right away. The crew arrived on time and completed the job in a day. Though there was a bit of a language barrier, they were very knowledgeable when answering my questions, don’t cut corners and are willing to ensure the job is done right. They kept their work area clean, used drop cloths to walk through the house. I felt very comfortable dealing with Cy. He’s a very calming presence but as well doesn’t push the higher priced items. He respects people have budgets and so he often presents alternatives which you might not be aware of. He was always available to chat if I had questions. I also got them to change and discard of my old water heater and add a gas line to my barbecue. All that remains is installing my gas line to my kitchen stove once I have it in, but I suspect it to run smoothly. After everything was installed, a technician came to my house in the winter to perform a efficiency test and provided some tips. I’ll be waiting for them to come next summer to do the same thing on my AC I would recommend the Spring Home team. They’re reliable

Not like other companies which just want to sell you as much as they can. They also provide tips and advice of how to maintain your systems to save your future repairing cost. SpringHome was my 3rd quote for a HVAC system SSAB needed for a new lab that we were building. The price was well below the other 2 companies with a better warranty and more efficient system. The installation was professional and quick. I will use Springhome again whenever the need come up. Thanks George and Cy!

I received a lot of recommended installers from friends and colleagues at work. I also checked the homestars website for installers with top ratings. I got in-home quotes from multiple companies, researched the companies using the homestars website and Better Business Bureau. I disregarded those who gave me quotes by phone. I read through a lot of manufacturer reviews (all brands seem to have the same ratings). I chose Spring Home because of the following reasons: 1. They came highly recommended by homestars and a friend 2. Their prices were competitive 3. Cy came over to the house and explained to me how they would do it 4. Cy was very patient with my queries. I tend to over-research and over-analyze 5. Most of the installers who gave me quotes try to justify their prices by including the rebates I would get from the government. Cy did not try to sell me their products based on the rebates that I would get.

Before replacing my furnace and a/c I got competitive in-home quotes, spoke to other companies on the phone, read through a lot of websites and reviews, compared prices, manufacturers, quality and warranties. I found Spring Home on the Homestars website and chose them over all the other companies for the following reasons: 1- Cy is honest, patient, knowledgeable and willing to promptly answer/explain all HVAC questions in detail on the phone, in person or by email. 2- Cy recommended what I needed for my house taking into consideration the location of my vents, skylights, windows, etc. (heat loss and heat gain) and showed me photos on his laptop of a completed installation and awards they have received. 3- Cy returned a second time to confirm a 2-stage thermostat could be rewired and relocated. He also went outside with a tape measure to ensure the a/c would be installed without restricting my window from opening. (This was before I had signed a contract with him.) 4- they are fully licensed, bonded, insured and covered by workers compensation 5- they DO NOT use subcontractors 6- their price is fair and competitive 7- they pay attention to the details of a quality installation and refuse to cut corners. 8- they pride themselves on customer satisfaction. 9- they have excellent reviews on Homestars 10- I called another well rated HVAC company from the Homestars website for a competitive American Standard quote. The owner told me that he'd like the business but felt I should call Spring Home because they were located closer to my home and they were the best for American Standard installations. Honestly! 11- A Spring Home customer detailed his installation along with photos in the HVAC forum on the Red Flag Deals website and a contributing HVAC expert recognized it as a Spring Home install with praise. 12- American Standard is a quality product, has positive reviews on the forum mentioned above and has good ratings in past consumer reports. They also offer an optional 15 yr extended manufacture warranty on the furnace. 13- American Standard uses Spring Home for installations in their training center and at trade shows. 14- Spring Home is the only American Standard distinguished dealer for customer care in the GTA. My installation went smoothly from about 9:30am - 6pm, the three installers were extremely respectful and at the end of the day the area was left clean, the furnace was running quietly and I found Cy had kindly sent us an a/c cover. (the a/c will be serviced at no charge in the spring to ensure it runs correctly) The next night Cy sent us an email to ensure we had no concerns and a couple of days later he unexpectedly dropped by and took a quick look at the install just to check on things. If you want to deal with an honest salesman who prides himself on customer satisfaction + quality service and if you want quality equipment expertly installed at a fair and competitive price look no further Spring Home is the company for you!

George and Cy came to inspect our light commercial unit for an HVAC install, instead they noticed our unit heater may be broken. George suspected that it was a cracked heat exchanger. Several days later, the landlord sent his own contractor to take a look and after the unit heater was opened up, he confirmed George's diagnosis. We went with Spring Home because their price was better and George seemed really knowledgeable.

We would highly recommend Spring Home - after reading over the high ratings they received on Homestars, they were one of the initial companies that we contacted for an estimate, as we were looking to replace our aging furnace and air conditioner. Meeting with Cy was a great experience - he clearly stood out from the other contractors we met with, as he was very conscientious about booking the initial appointment, and he even offered to meet with us after working hours, adapting to our schedule. He spent over an hour with us, politely answering all of our questions while educating us about this important decision, without applying any pressure.
