After several home renovation projects that had some issues I decided to search for an HVAC contractor through Home Stars using a very high rating score as my start point (9.8-10). This short-listed Spring Home and several others. Spring Home won the contract for a complete high eff refit after Cy's thorough and impressive presentation. He uses a computer to walk you through the work. Particularly impressive were the quality and neatness of the installation photos - I had researched on an HVAC forum that the install is the most critical element to a quality HVAC system. I was also impressed with the photos of their installs for American Standard at the Toronto Home Show and the AM Std training centre. Cy answered every question thoroughly and pointed out details in the install such as the AC cement pad, the intake and exit pipe mortaring that are important but never considered in a large job like a system replacement. The job was complicated by poor existing ducting and an improper plenum as well as a short time frame to get the work done ahead of the rebate deadline. In addition, my wife was reluctant to replace a working system. George the installation manager came out twice at no cost to answer my questions, ensure the equipment would work correctly and to order the proper plenum before any contract was signed. He also verified the existing furnace's heat exchanger was cracked but allowed us to digest the news without any hard sell unlike the competing firm. George also saved a slot for installation prior to the Mar 22 audit deadline despite no definite decison from us or a deposit until the night before. Spring Home met our needs, waiting patiently and let us take the time needed to be sure we were making the right decison. The installation was first class and the end result matched the photos of quality jobs Cy had shown. The team worked very hard from 9 AM to 9:30 PM due to the complex nature of the existing system ducts at no additional cost and clearly were very skilled. I now have a high eff system that reflects quality throughout. Spring Home's quote was very competitive, cheaper than several, surprising given the quality of work and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend Cy and George and Spring Home or to use them again.

Cy and George from Spring Home Heating and Cooling were great to deal with. They were very professional and reliable. George was very knowledgeable of what was needed to updgrade our heating and AC system and to plan for our future 2nd story addition. I have recommended Spring Home to a few of my fmaily and friends and look forward to the 2nd phase of our home heating and cooling upgrade

Our 20 year old furnace died on the Family Day long weekend. George came over immediately and also referred us to an energy auditor so we could qualify for government rebates. We also had our non-functioning air cleaner replaced and George advised us to replace our old hot water tank since it was way past its normal service life. Our hot water tank is located behind the furnace so if it died later the furnace would have to be removed again to replace it. George's crew came the next day and completed the job in a thoroughly professional and efficient manner. They even cleaned up the work areas before they left. We are very happy with the quality and service we received from Spring Home and would not hesitate to recommend them.

To Whom It May Concern: I decided to replace my old 80% efficiency furnace with a high efficiency one. I got some quotes and I decided for Spring Home Heating & Cooling. Their price was close to other offers. I gave them a list with my requirements to be attached and part of the contract and they accepted all of them. Spring Home H&C company installed for me an American Standard Freedom 95 furnace in less than one week from the time they gave me the quote. Two technicians came in the morning on the day they wrote in the contract and did a good and clean job. They met all the requirements I attached to the contract and they did check with me in all the situations in which few approaches were possible. Cy was recommended to me and I'm glad I employed his firm to replace our furnace. He explained everything that was required, clearly and concisely. They did an exceptional job, all very neat and tidy. The system is working well. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of replacing their furnace to use spring home heating. Cy called me the day after installation to check everything was done to my satisfaction. All in all a top fella who cares and whose company performs a solid job.

I originally met George several years ago when he first came to inspect and service my A/C unit. He was very friendly and honest. He was kind enough to fix a small issue and not charge me for it, which is hard to find nowadays. This summer, when our A/C unit failed to work, he quickly advised what was wrong with the unit and replaced our A/C unit and furnace because it was out of date. I am grateful that he was able to fix the units and save us a lot of money with the government rebate that he told us about. I will definitely refer him to my friends and family.

We were looking to install a new furnace and air con in December/10. We spoke with Cy and he explained everything and, after getting another quote, we ultimately decided to go with home springs (because of the price and they had a better reputation). The installation went well and we are happy with the results - everything went smoothly. At the end of the day I would recommend this home springs to potential customers.

I've installed hvac system with Spring Home. My 38 years old little townhouse was using electric heating board. Now they swap it to a high efficient gas system. Their service is pretty good, and people are nice. Price is good as well. Because of high efficient furnace, monthly cost is also much lower, I am very satisfied. We contacted Spring Home Heating after reading reviews about them on HomeStars.com. We needed to install an HVR unit after our energy audit revealed too low an air flow rating. I did research on HRV's before contacting several heating / air contractors to insure I knew what I was talking about ahead of time. Of all of the heating / air contractors we had come to our home, I found Spring Home Heating to be the most knowledgable and they provided honest, helpful advice. I felt no pressure to buy from Spring Home, dispute Cy (our sales rep.) going out of his way to provide additional detailed manufacturing specs. that were not normally available. In the end, we decided to go with Spring Home to install our HRV unit and a whole home air purifier. The installers were on time, did an excellent job and left our home in clean condition. In addition, they spent the time to explain every aspect of the installation and operation of the new units. They even fixed the drain for our pre-existing on-demand hot water system which they didn't even install in the first place. Thanks to Cy and the installers … we are happy to recommend Spring Home Heating to everyone that asks!

Buying from Spring Home is one of my best big decisions of 2010 despite rushing after my furnace died during a chilly week in December. Cy came over to show me their line of furnaces shortly after contacting them and they installed the furnace on that very day. Even though everything was quick, they gave a reasonable price and the most satisfactory responses out of all the places we've contacted. Yan and Gary, the technicians who installed our furnace, were very helpful and professional from start to finish. They answered our questions and concerns and even helped us turn on our gas fireplace. I highly recommend Spring Homes to anyone and I've already recommended them to a friend.
